ATTETION ALL HAWAII SWIMMERS!
Sick of the same old design on the State Championship medals? Here's your chance to do something about it. We are looking for a new medal design for the 2003 Long Course State Championship meet.
In the past the design has had some type of Hawaiian theme. We have used the Hawaiian Islands, a flower lei and tiki man. The design is up to you, but some reference to Hawaii and swimming would be best. The following are examples of past medals and the years they were used.
Medal Design Criteria 
The medal you design must have the words "Hawaiian Swimming Long Course State Championships" somewhere on it.
You do NOT need to put the year because we might be using the same medal design for more than one year.
Please remember this design will be on metal roughly the size of a 1 and 1/2 inch diameter circle, so it doesn't have to be too detailed.
Please indicate whether you would like your medal to be the antique or shiny style of medal. (See Medal Design Examples)
If you pick the shiny style for your medal design. We aren't sure yet if we can put color on the medal. If we can and you would like your medal design to have color, please indicate what color you want which part.
If you make your design on the computer, please send your design to hawaiianswimmingathleterep@hotmail.com. Please include your name, age, phone number and team in the e-mail.
If you do it by hand, please e-mail hawaiianswimmingathleterep@hotmail.com with your name, age, phone number and team. We will then e-mail you back with the address to send your design to.
