Ok so the rules are simple, just scroll down the page to see the Diffrent types of rules we have!
Joining
Joining is really easy, all you have to do is go to the Join Page (see top links)to fill out the join form for your first 3 SIM horses! You also start out with $70,000 SIM Dollars to get you started. Please, before filling out the form, here are a couple things to say about joining..
Fill the Whole Form out! (It's much easier and helpful for us)
Make sure you know a little about horses such as : A HAND only goes 4 inches so no horse can be " 16.6 hh " if you do that, we will put him down as "17.2" as that would be his correct height.
Never! give out your FULL name Just so Moms and Dads are ok with it and so Some Freak cant track you down...
Never Put any bad words in your name, we have young kids playing in this too so you have to watch out for them.
Only join if you KNOW you can be active, i.e post on the message board AT LEAST once a week, as well as taking care of your horses. If you are going away, e-mail someone telling them that, or post on the message board saying when you are leaving and when you will be back, that way you wont recieve the warning for nothing!!
No Arguing with ANYONE. We know what were doing and we run this game! sorry to sound strict, but this makes the game much more peace full.
After Joining
After joining you'll get a e-mail back from Amazing Equines (Either Maura or Kaleah) Giving your Horses Info back to you. Also you are to make a player page. If that is not posible we'll make one for you, but it'll be $2,000 sim money. We'll also tell you what to do next but usualy after you join you get your Member Message and then you go off and find a place to board your horses, take them to the farrier, and the vet. You can also start entering shows or what not, but you'll get all this information once you join. =)
Money
Like we said before, you start out with $70,000 Dollars to get you started. We will also give you $500 a Month as an "allowance" to help you along. Seening as how $500 won't go too far once you get going, you should also consider looking for a job to suport your Sim Horses. You can also start a boarding stable, or sell some of your Sim horses. There many ways to make money in AE!.
Horses
Also, as we said before, you start out with 3 SIM horses that you make up when you join. These are the only horses you will be allowed to make-up, the rest you must buy, adopt, or breed for. After you get horses you must make a page for them and send us the url to put on ur player page. If you need help just let us know thanks... Right now you can only own 26 horses. This may not sound like alot. If it seems everything is going along well with that many we may raise the number of horses you can own. There're many places to find horses in AE ! Check out stables and see if they have any horses for sale!
Aging
All horses in AE will age 2 month real time = 1 year AE time. This makes it MUCH easier to know how old horses are, and it allows you to have a variety of horses and in real life some will die ;o(
Breeding
If you want to breed for a foal the Stallion MUST be registered and MUST be over 3 years old, and the Mare MUST be registered to be able to have foals, she also must be over the age of 4! If you would like to breed for a Foal, go to the Breeding Forum .
Showing
Ok, Showing is a GREAT way to do stuff with your horse! You can earn points so your horse can have tiltes, and even advance to a higher level of compettiton!! Showing can also maake your horse be one of the most know horses in AE! You may only show your horse in the Disciplines that it is trained for, UNLESS he/she is in training to be shown in a diffrent Discipline!! We will keep careful track of those who do not follow this rule!!
Stables
Owning a Stable takes some work! You must make the proper pages for it and have places for all your horses. You can either make it a Boarding Stable or a Privtie Stable. Boarding Stable means that you take others peoples horses in and care for them. Private Stables are for your own horses ONLY! Making a stable cost $70,000
Humane Society
The Humane Society takes horses that haven't been taken care of properly and puts them up for adoption for people who are more willing to take care of them. If you don't board your horse within 2 weeks of getting it and/or miss taking him to the vet or farrier, AE will e-mail you a notice and if nothing happens within 3 days, we will take your horse away from you! PLEASE keep your horses cared for! The HS will be open soon.
Associations
Associations are a nice way to get your horses name out there in the AE world and getting him/her involved in the game. The Associations will run Shows, send out Newsletters and such about happenings in the club!! Some clubs are breed specific, EXAMPLE: AE Quarter Horse Association, and is mostly about that breed. Others are based ona certain riding style, or sport, EXAMPLE: The Eventing Association, and will have information about that sport. Go to the Associations page for more information.
