"The Boasting Traveler"
A
man once traveled across a fair amount of country and saw many sites. Upon
returning home he began to tell people of all the wonderful sites he had seen,
and of all the fabulous feats he had accomplished. One day when he had an
audience he began to boast of one such feat. "While I was in Rhodes they
had a jumping contest, which I was a part of. There I performed a great
leap which to this day none have bettered," boasted the man. "In
fact if you were to go there today, and asked anyone who was there, they would
tell you the same."
At this point one man in his
audience spoke up. "If you can jump as you say you can, we have no need to
go to Rhodes. Why not just show all of us standing here today.
Jump!"

"Deeds not words."
