This is a wonderful year for meeting friends because of my intreast in baking and submiting recipes to my local new's paper the enjoyment of seeing my name in print.I have many receipes that i faxed to my local news paper that have been printed.My girl friend is still working and when her co-workers say,dorothy did you see connies name is in the paper, i like her receipe.
I used to work there myself(MELITTA COFFEE) FOR 23 years as a machine operator making coffee filters that fit in all of your auto coffee makers, i always came home smelling like coffee,while at melitta coffee the different kinds of coffee had a distink smell some where strong very strong.I remember this one day smoke filled the plant and we all knew that the coffee department was burning the coffee.What a mess,there was many snow days and never miss a day and when the snow got worse we all went home that part we all enjoyed.I can say i enjoyed all of the 23 years at melitta, good and bad.
Back in 1988 i couldnt stand from a chair in the lunch room without distress and in pain,about april in that year i had major repaires (yes) i had a hip replacement a little scarey because the doctors told me i was to young to have this operation,but found i was suffering and notice with xrays my feermer bone was flat by having this done gave me a new lease on life and to enjoy what life would bring in my furture to extend my walking and getting around.Till this day i don't express any pain, it always show on my face,so you see what can be a new fix on life.
