8 1/2 week ultrasound - The baby is head down, facing left you can see the arm and leg buds, butt is up in the air. The fetal heart rate was 176 bpm.

On January 5th 2004 my doctor attempted to induce me because of my baby's size and my history of going overdue. I was 39 wks. They used 24 hours of pitocin, at the maximum dosage and then 24 hours of cervadil. I never got past 1 cm. For some reason my body wouldnt respond to 48 hours of induction medications. The labor and delivery ward filled up and I wasnt progressing.. not to mention getting more and more tired! So they sent me home. I was hoping to go into labor on my own within the next few days but it didnt happen. I was induced a 2nd time on Jan 14th and I delivered a healthy baby boy on January 15th 2004, 4 days late.
