Daddy Souvan tells his story

It all began in a galaxy far, far away…

"What the heck is wrong with you?!? That’s from a different story. This is the Wheel of time by Robert Jordan, not Star Wars by George Lucas." An angry voice said.

"Oh sorry. You’re quite right there Aldazar." I said truthfully. "My mistake. Turned to the wrong page." I said sheepishly.

"Damn!" Phoenix said pouting. "Sorry to get your hopes up Phoenix. I know how you like Star Wars." I acknowledged. "Here. For my mistake."

I handed Phoenix a root beer. Turning the page I began again. "Now as I was saying…"

It all began with the invention of Artificial Intelligence, or as some like to call it A.I. The computers you see, out smarted us. We thought we could stop them by scorching the sky. Because it was believed that without the sun, which is how they were powered, they would die. The world it seems is not without a sense of irony…

"All right now this is getting annoying!" Aldazar said annoyed. "Who do you think you are Morpheus or something?"

"Opps…I did it again." I sang and started to dance.

"Oh gawd!" Aldazar said covering his eyes and ears.

I laughed. "I told you Joram, there is a way to shut Aldazar up. Pay up!"

"DAMN! I’m going to get you, and your little pretty Sedai too!" Joram screamed as he jumped on his ISD connection flew into the distance. Crickets chirped… A frog croaked…

"Umm…is he always like that?" Phoenix asked.

"YES!" Everyone said in unison.

Phoenix just smiled. "Good, I like them off base. Make’s me seem more normal." Everyone rolled their eyes in unison.

"Hey, I can’t do that. STOP IT!" A Myrddraal said.

"Anyway, as I was saying…"

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose on the mountain known as Dragonmount and sped across the great plains. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning for a new member of the Dragonmount community. His name was Sam d’ma Shadar.

"Who?" Some young Novice said.

"Shut up!" Aldazar said. "I want to hear this." "Yeeeees, beee quuiet." An above average in height Myrddraal said. "I want noooo trouble, from you Novices or…" The Myrddraal raised his finger and a chair rose into the air, the slowly was crushed as his fist came together, until there was nothing put a marble shaped lump left.

"Damnit, I told you to keep that a secret D’Spyre!" Demandred said. "If I said once, I’ve said twice. Everything goes through me in this Org. I’m the Naeblis, not you. Remember that!"

"Sowwy." D’Sprye said, though when Demandred wasn’t looking he had quite a satisfied smile on his face, for a Myrddraal anyway. An older Lanfear even gave him clap on the back.

"As I was saying…" He put emphasis on the word ‘I’.

Now, Sam d’ma Shadar was an ex-assassin, whose family was killed by Trolloc’s.

"How original…" Aldazar muttered.

He was strong in the One Power, and was a quick learner. He joined and made himself known quietly at first. He made friends with another member of the Tower named, Nordan. Through him, he quickly learned what was going on, and the elite. He learned there was peace between the Towers in this land, which utterly shocked him. But, what really startled him was that the Sedai’s where bonding the BT members! Which was really cool cause then he could actually have a bondholder, basically having the best of both worlds. He started looking… Not to his surprise the Sedai were almost all taken. But the Amyrlin wasn’t…He thought why not and think big? He started talking to her. Through conversations with the Amyrlin, he learned more about DM in every aspect. Around this time, he met Blackthorne, in another world called www.wheeloftime.org, which is changing to www.theportalstone.com in the near future. In this alternate reality they became friends and decided to bond their characters together at Dragonmount. The problem though, Blackthorne was a Chosen at DM!

"Yer kidding, right? Come on, tell me his kidding!" Dark Blight said. "I can’t lose Blackthorne. Who am I going to shamelessly flirt with in chat with, if not her?"

"Now, now, everything will be alright." Lanfir Sedai said.

Sam and Blackthorne met eventually, and he devised a way for them to bond. She wished to return to the light and enter the Tower again, but who would trust a Chosen? Not unless she was bonded. Sam and Blackthorne bonded with approval from both the Amyrlin and the M’Hael. They had a romance, these two. An inspiring one, and a well open one, until a dark shadowy figure started to make plans.

"That’s me, right. Come on it has to be me!" Demandred said sounding giddy.

Demandred wished to remove Blackthorne as threat. As long as she was in the light, she would remain a threat to him and his rule. In a somewhat daring attack, the forces of the shadow openly attacked in the borderlands. A huge force, Sedai, Warder’s and Black Tower members gated to borderlands to engaged the enemy. Little did they know it was a diversion to attack another more important target. Chosen, Dreadlords, and Gholam attacked Tar Valon itself. They to were a distraction. Blackthorne was the target. She was captured and Demandred, Ishamael and Lanfear removed her memory of everything she ever did for Shayol Ghul. He could do nothing as his love was brutalized. The Chosen left laughing leaving Sam Shadar was mortally hurt, during a fight with a Gholam, and Blackthorne was delirious from a partial mind wipe. They both survived, thanks to the close proximity of the Yellow Ajah. Not a Chosen anymore, Sam Shadar took Blackthorne for his Warder. Once recovered Sam returned to the Black tower, to find his friend Nordan dead. Killed in his sleep with poison, under orders from the Asha’man Connor, because he was going insane. Vowing not to die like his friend. Sam Shadar turned his back on the Tower, making him an outcast, for no one left the Black Tower, unless it was six feet under. Afraid to take Blackthorne with him, he left her behind. Transferring her bond to him to Asha’man Hawkwing without his approval, he utterly betrayed his vow to her, which resulted in her suicide.

"Not to mention the scar left on my skull!" Hawkwing shouted.

On the run, Sam Shadar assumed a new name. Akin al’Ker.

"Pfft…and we wonder why he did Star Wars first. I mean geez, Akin al’Ker. Anyone notice how close that is to Anakin Skywalker!" Aldazar fumed.

"I kinda like it." Phoenix said sipping his root beer.

"You would." Aldazar grumbled.

Sam, aka Akin, was almost captured by a party of joint Black Tower and White Tower members when the first Breaking occurred. Reality warped. When the mountains stopped heaving, the name Akin transformed into Souvan al’Ker. Under his real name of Souvan, Sam hid from everyone and everything until he was drawn into something he had no control over. A rogue group, who had no idea of its power, discovered a weapon. Souvan took a chance and intervened, taking control of the weapon, even though Asha’man Connor and Demandred were also after it. It ultimately lead to the gentling of Souvan at the steps of the White Tower itself, by the Demandred. Souvan was in no shape to flee and was taken into the White Tower to be healed by the Yellow Sedai, by a Novice. While recovering, Souvan built a relationship with the Novice named Lasir. Oddly, he began to build a somewhat awkward romance with her. Something he did not expect, since he was still recovering from hearing the news of Blackthorne’s death during the breaking, and then hearing of her rebirth during the fight with Demandred. An edgy relationship between Lasir and Souvan through a sudden combat between Demandred and the Dragon Reborn at . The romance all but ended when Souvan accompanied his friend Matalina into the Waste in order to help protect and guide the Dragon Reborn. Being a gentled man, Souvan agreed to teach the Dragon a few tricks in order to survive a battle with Demandred. During the journey to Rhuidean, something claimed Souvan. A void of some sort and Souvan became quiet…

"What?" the Amyrlin said. "How does someone become quiet? Especially him. I mean once he even threatened me with…" Segurant held out some chocolate pudding in front of the Amyrlin’s face. "OH MY GAWD! LET ME HAVE IT!"

"Will you be a good girl, and be quiet?" Segurant said. "Ah huh." The Amyrlin said nodding continuously. Segurant handed the Amyrlin the chocolate pudding, and gave everyone a good smile.

"So, that’s how you control her." Someone said in the back. I looked and saw Soraya Sedai smiling. I know knew how she stayed alive for two years as the Amyrlin’s roommate in that other reality. "As I was saying…"

When the void that had consumed Souvan finally faded, DM had gone through another breaking. Souvan was know never a channeler and had never had a relationship with Blackthorne or Lasir. He was an ex-assassin whose family was killed by a mod, and he was returning to the Tower after a long absence…

"Well, I don’t know how original that is, but at least they weren’t killed by Trolloc’s this time." Aldazar said.

There’s all my character’s history at DM. Some is skipped, but most is there. ;-) I’ve had many names here over the years. Sam Shadar, Akin al’Ker, Souvan al’Ker, Incarnation, Community Leader…it’s been a blast in every name. As for me, I’ve had and am having an awesome time at DM. Whether it was through RPing, or just chatting with my friends. I’ve had a lot of them over the last 2 years. I just mention a few, some you will recognize some you will not. If I miss anyone, it’s not on purpose…I just forgot! :P Ms. Amyrlin (who I love to tease), Soraya (can’t tease one roommate and not the other *eg*) Nordan/Aldiran (a good bud), Slaughterville (a nutty dad), Aldazar (a good guy, no matter how much an ass he likes to portray himself as), Ben-T (for being the perfect boy scout, if anyone was to be Clark Kent at DM it would be you), Darksmoon (for being even better then me at flirting), Matalina (for being a good friend), Lanfir (for being you), Serafelle (yes, I included you, even if you are the biggest bitch I’ve ever known at times), Jhaenara (for adding a new spice to the term, ‘chat crazed’), Joe Gaidin (for ebing that awesome Art Guy), Phoenix (for starting it all, and putting up with me), Therva (for being cute and from Quebec to boot), Lasir (for being easy to get along with), and finally Blackthorne (for changing and giving insight into my life) My life has changed dramatically since that first day I said, "Hi I’m new here." Thanks for making it for the better.

"Finally, he shuts up!" Sathinar looks around. "Alright, who hid the pigeons?"
