well, we know it's been a long time...... so here we are!!!! butch here, just letting you know that we didn't fall off the face of the planet (yet), and become another 1-hit-wonder-how-they-had-one-in-the-first-place band (yet). no, no, no, we just wanted to go into the studio and crank out a new record for ya! it's done, it rocks, and it is...... READYSEXGO, the new MARV3 record! sorry it took us long to finish it, but art takes time, and this one is so bad-a** that you won't be able to stand it (picture your head blowing up from excitement.... well...no.. don't..). I know you've been uncomfortably squirming like a whore in church, but now you can finally relax and hear a sneak preview of it on the official website WWW.THEMARVELOUS3.COM complete with audio soundbites. we had a bunch of our friends from other groups you may have heard of come in and contribute to the making of READYSEXGO. members of Buckcherry, Lit, Beck, and a whole bunch more, came in and laid down some sonic love on several songs. basically wherever there was a place to put 'em, we did! it was the most fun 5 months we ever spent making a record, and it shows... trust us.. you will love it!!! there is a big buzz on this record, and we need you all to go out and support us when it hits the stores SEPT. 12TH! tell all of your buds to do the right thing, and support our record and come see our shows! okay... enough whining and begging.....
speaking of albums, the new single, "SUGARBUZZ", is hitting the airwaves right now as we speak, er, type! the website ( WWW.THEMARVELOUS3.COM ) has all the stations and phone numbers needed to get the song crankin', so do your part and give em a call, if you hear them play the song, and tell them that you like them more when they play us, and you wanna hear it again and again! you know that when an album and a single come out, that it can only mean one thing........
TOURING Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's right!!!!!!! as many of you know, I screwed my foot up in a stage fight with a mic cable after performing a dual axle, 1 and a half, triple backflip gainer into the crowd (bullsh**). either way, I ruptured my Achilles tendon and it hurt like a b*%$&#$#@#$%#*&!, so we had to be good and take time off for it to heal, so that we could tour later. well, I am happy to say that with a little help from a butt-ugly walking cast (and proper pain medication) I am ready to rock like a hurricane! we will be hitting the road in support of the single, starting in September! check the website for current updates and changes. it looks like we will start on the east coast and make our way everywhere else. the band going out with us is called SR-71, and they are kool kats. you have probably heard their song all over the freakin' radio. the song is called "Right Now", and you should request it too.... why you ask?...... BECAUSE I CO-WROTE IT WITH THEM!!!!!! yes! , I sh** you not, their singer, Mitch and I, wrote it while he was down visiting in Atlanta, and we had nothing better to do!!! anyways, this tour will be kick-a** and you should come out and see us!!!!!!

08/18/00 just checking in to say howdy and thanks for everybody posting in here. you guys rule the skool..... wanted to clear something up.. someone posted about the album cover, being "catered to guy fans". first off. the cover, incase you havent seen it yet, is a picture of a mannequin dressed very sleazy, and with her crotch in the camera, in front of the red, white an blue colors. the album is called READYSEXGO. it isnt supposed to make sense. the whole thing is kinda poking fun at how everything is such about gratuitous sex, t and a, etc.. these days. understand that we love sex, just as much as the next person, and when we grew up in the 80's, most acts were pretty point blank about it. now, the p.c. 90's are gone, and everybody has backwards baseball caps, and sings about nookie, so we just thought it was funny how everything in america is so cycular. therefore, it is a lighthearted jab (from the kings of lightheartedness) about sex, music, and americana culture. hey, you can either stand here in this country and complain about it, or make light of it. we chose the latter. hope this clears things up, and don't write us off as mysoginistic, bull-headed, neanderthals yet. we love our lady fans as much as our dudes! the marvies love anyone who wants to ride our train. we love all of you for your support, and thanks for being so excited about the new record. we think it is very special and we need everybody to go out and get it on sept. 12th, okay? we will see you on the road!!!!!!!
