ive unfortunately got some more bad news for you guys...not long after bob quit, so has justin! :( Here's the letter from Johnee about it, from the official page.

10-09-00 Attention All HG fans...so far our fall tour with Ovurhed, No Use for a Name, One Man Army, and Big Wig has been a blast. Lots of cool kids coming to shows and a lot of partying. I do, however, have shocking news concerning Home Grown. As of October 2nd, 2000, Justin Poyser of Home Grown has stepped off the stage and quit the band due to personal differences. He will be missed by all. Despite our unfortunate luck of band members leaving, Home Grown will continue on playing as a Three Piece...if Green Day and Alkaline Trio can do it...so can we. I know some of you may be skeptical that HG is "falling apart", don't be. We have just as much heart as we did when Home Grown first began. And as long as you keep supporting us, we keep writing and playing. That's about it. Thanks...we out. Johnnnne and adam

Justin will be missed, and good luck to the boys playin as a three piece!

i haven't updated this part of the page in forever, and unfortunately im finally updating it with bad news.. Bawb quit Home Grown. This is the letter from him that was on the official page...

Due to complications from my brain tumor surgery, i am forced to quit Home Grown. Ive back the band too long and I thank em SO much for waiting as long as they could. Its been an awesome 6 yrs growing up with them. I love you guys like brothers and always will.

I also want to thank all the people and companies that flowed us free stuff and endorsed us: Paul Gomez and Bob (Hurley) and crew, Gil and Frank @ Ambiguous,Vans, Es, Emerica, Black Flys, Arnette, If , OP, and all the other ones i prolly forgot...

I want to thank Dave Liberation for puttin out our first record...we never thought wed get as far as that....and OUTPOST- Scott, Andy, Mark, Wendy, David , Jeff and crew, you guys were so cool with us and showed me "glamorous" side of the music business. 98 Posse, Shortbus, Goldenvoice, and all the promoters who didnt try to rip us off.And of course our manager Dave Crowley ( for cutting your SFLB, all your goofy ideas and makin us laugh) good luck with Wende. And Roger A Sandau our lawyer who has been an awesome friend and lawyer to me...thanks for helpin get to a hospital when my brain tumor got all scary. and to Mrs. Karen Sandau for being so nice and HOT! you should do more modeling! oh and to the doggys Oliver and i forget the other ones name..

Last but not least i wanna thank ALL our fans who've helped us who spread the music of HG to friends and the few who let us sleep at their places n stuff. All the people shared so many stories about how HG affected them. All the people gave me personal items of theirs..from rings to leis (hawaii). Thank you for making me feel cooler than I really am!! ALL of you! Good bye!

It's gonna be released on Fueled by Ramen Records and it'll have five songs on it including their rendition of barbie girl, No Way Out, a song called Giving Up that was originally written for Act Your Age, and two new songs.
