Why You Should Give Peas A Chance!
*Note* If you feel that the above passage is pointless, irritating, or has offended you in anyway, I'M SORRY! Please forgive me!
This page is dedicated to all those brave souls who gave peas a chance! Here’s my story:
It was just another evening. My Mom and I were eating supper. I was eating away, minding my own business, and I noticed that my Mom was eating peas! This is my chance I thought. So, I grabbed a pea off of her plate, and without thinking about the consequences, I ate it. It was actually good! I have to admit that I haven’t had peas since, but if we ever have them again, I WILL give peas a chance!
My name is Stacey Sokolan. (I’m Deena’s colleague.) Here is my harrowing account of the time I gave peas a chance.
On Sunday, September nineteenth, at approximately 5:30 PM, I had a life-changing experience. I know it sounds like an old cliche from the ‘60s, but I gave peas a chance. I mean, I was hungry! I knew I didn’t have to love peas, but I could at least just give them a chance and try to accept them. I don’t normally like peas--they’re green and round and, well...SQUISHY. Nonetheless, I grabbed a spoonful of peas and...dug in. It was a pretty big spoonful, too. I ate all but 9 of them (and one squished one. Poor guy; he didn’t even have a chance). I tried to swallow them whole, but I had recurring visions of the numerous choking experiences I’ve had, so I ended up having to chew them. All in all, the peas did not kill me, and I think they have made me more accepting. So...
ALL I AM SAYING, IS GIVE PEAS A CHANCE!
