Welcome to my humble, little Mimato evidence section. Though evidence on this couple is not as clear to find as other couples ( say Tai and Sora! :Þ ) but there is still enough to point them out as a serious couple and not a figment of someone's imagination (no offence to anyone ^o*). Anyway, I know plenty of people who do not (isn't that unbelievable!) believe in this couple and I'm am here to try to change their minds. First, just some basic stuff like that fact that in every episode they are always standing next to each other and agreeing on things. I know, that's not very solid evidence. Just read on. One of my favorite all time quotes is one by Mimi, "Matt's right." *giggles* This couple is VERY cute and should be a official couple!

Evidence of the Cute couple to be ^_~
My first bit of Evidence is from Episode 43 after defeating MetalSeadramon and Whalmon dying. 
Mimi is making graves for her fallen digimon friends while Matt watches her ^-^ and the others discuss what to do next. When Tai tells everyone to leave and Mimi rufuses Matt looks like he's about to go over to her.
Tai starts yelling at Mimi and then Matt blows up 'cause he's picking on Mimi.
This occurs in the second episode.
Are there more ugly monsters like that big, flying beetle? ~Mimi

Now doesn't that sound like he's trying to show off and be tough for Mimi?!
In episode 45, Matt leaves the group and wouldn't you know it that's when Mimi decides to leave. Now she was doing fine with the group until Matt left....Hmmmm....
Have you ever noticed how Mimi always gets mad and worried when Matt starts fighting?!
Okay, we all know how pertective Matt is of T.K.! Remember when Sora was captured by Datamon, Tai and Izzy went inside to get her, while the others stayed outside. Joe was gone fighting and then Matt had to leave and who did he trust T.K. with. Hmmmmm? MIMI of course. He actually trusted T.K. with Mimi. Now I think that says a LOT.
Now the following are Matt and Mimi moments that sound negative to some people. But in my mind ~a true Mimato lovers~ these quotes sound sort-of like flirting or are important in their own way to the future of this couple.
In episode 4, remember when Mimi says "Oh there all so cute! I wish I could
just take on home with me and stick on my bed with the rest of my
stuffed animals!" to this Matt replies: "There she goes again, Do you
think Mimi hears same things we do... I mean I just don't know
anymore..."
I'm sorry, but I think that sounds like flirting TO ME . Don't send me e-mails telling me how it doesn't! That's my opinion!
In the second episode this series of quotes occurs:
Ohh look at all those goodies. Why don't you be a good, little boy and share those treats with dear, sweet Mimi? ~Mimi
Awwww Mimi, you don't have to be so nice, I'm happy to share, isn't she cute? ~T.K.
Forget it. ~Matt
Now personally I believe there has to be a point to the quote. There has to be a reason the writers stuck it in there... there is only a half hour in the show you know. Now you can think that it means that Matt hates Mimi but I think it's evidence of a future relationship. It might point out how they have changed since the beginning of the show and how their feelings have changed and matured. Now the quote points out that T.K. likes Mimi, right? That could mean that Mimi trys to get close to Matt through T.K.. I guess it's just how you look at it....
