Dawson steps up his efforts to find out who Eve really is, but
the mystery only deepens.  An old photo of a lovely blonde that
he finds with her clothes catches his interest, however.  Meanwhile,
Joey is horrified when she finds out that her boss Rob has a date
with the vulnerable Andie, who seems quite taken with him.  She
follows them on their date to the movies and tries without success
to talk sense into Andie.  Jack meets with equal failure when he tries
to help the hapless and hopelessly-in-love Henry get a date with Jen.

"DAWSON'S CREEK" TRIVIA - Test Your Knowledge

In Season One, Dawson brings Jen to his mom's station to do some
looping for his movie.   DAWSON LEARNS of HIS MOM'S AFFAIR when
he sees her kissing her co-anchor, Bob, in the hallway.  He goes to
Joey for comfort, only to find out that she has known about the affair
all along. Dawson eventually confronts his mother, who confesses to his father.

LINES TO REMEMBER:  Memorable Lines from Past Episodes

#304 LINES TO REMEMBER --
PACEY (to Joey):  Ever stop to think about how much hormonally charged
energy you put into the quick quips and biting banter?  Your life would be
considerably more productive if you took some, what's that word again, oh
that's it -- action.

JOEY:  Like voluntary manslaughter.
PACEY:  Like sticking out your thumb.
JOEY:  Yeah and what else?  Hike up my skirt, pout my lips and strike a pose
for some horndog trucker?  Stick out your thumb you sexist toad.

JOEY (to Dawson):  Look, sometimes we fight our fathers and they respect us. 
But sometimes we fight... and we lose them forever.  You have to decide how
you want to live your life.  What you can tolerate.  What you're willing to
lose.

ANDIE:  Principal Green... I made a mistake.  A terrible error in judgment,
really.  I know that there is no excuse for what I did, so I wont waste your time. 
But there is an explanation -- one I can only pray that you might find it in your
heart to understand.  You see, there's this guy... When I met him, it was like...
a shade going up in a dark room, the light suddenly pouring in.  He understood
things about me, things no one else ever did, ever could.  And then... just as
suddenly, the room went dark again.  In my mind, I mean.  You see, over the
summer, I was treated at a psychiatric hospital.  I didn't have to stay long. 
I got better.  But when I came home, I'd lost the guy.  My soul-mate.  It was like
having an organ, my heart, literally ripped from my body.  All I could feel was cold
and empty... my future, slipping away...  You see, I lost my love -- but I was
determined not to lose my life.  That's why I stole the test.  That's why I cheated. 
To make sure it didn't all get away from me.  But I ended up just making things worse.

CLASS OF... -- Since Season 1 was only 13 episodes, the producers opted
to have the characters remain as sophomores for Season 2.  Thus,
conveniently picking up where Season 1 left off... with Dawson and Joey's
kiss!  To get back to "real time," Season Three has begun with the cast
entering their junior year of high school.

MUSIC -- The song in #112 & #201 (Dawson and Joey's kiss) is called "Say
Goodnight" by Beth Neilson Chapman.   Remember, for all Dawson's Creek

#302 MR. MCPHEE -- J. Steed, the last thing Mr. McPhee said to Jack after
the pep rally was "Goodnight Jack" (but yes, in listening to it again it sort
of did sound like he said another name). 

TEACHING WITH THE CREEK -- Jason, we love the idea of using Dawson's Creek words
in class, however, we are not allowed to give out parts of the script in advance.  It's such a
great way to combine learning and entertainment, so we thought of some alternatives for you: 
Have the students compile/define their own list of words from the episode (the more words/correct
definitions, the more extra credit points) or take a particularly "wordy" speech from the show,
transcribe it into simpler terms then let the students try to create their own "Dawson's speak"
(full of monosyllabic words, over-analytical dialogue, pop culture references, and general teen angst)
and compare it to what aired.  Good luck and keep up the great work!  Sounds like your class
would be lots of fun!

Hello Creekheads! Glam reporter Bibi St. Bijou here with
another sizzling Showbiz Scoop nugget:

Fallen Angel Bites the Dust-- ANGEL series regular, Glenn Quinn,
will unexpectedly depart the hit spin-off show after the 9th episode that
November 3rd. His character, Doyle, will meet a grizzly fate while
attempting to protect unearthly pals, Angel & Cordelia.
Show producers commented the decision was mutual and that it
is likely Quinn will show up later this season on a very
special TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL, as an Irish angel who can't
stop "shaking his shamrock" at star, Della Reese.
