Note: Your rival will always choose the opposite type of yours so he has the advantage so trading is suggested or not using that pokemon against your rivals main one. Your first fight is against Your rival and it is suggested you don't use leer/tailwhip instead use tackle/scratch that is the easiest way to win your first fight. Then you exit Pallet Town on the way to Viridian city there is a man I'm not certain which one so talk to them all and he will give you a potion and then head to Viridian City. Go to the Poke Mart building labeled MART and the guy at the counter will give you a package for Professer Oak. Head back to Pallet Town go to the builing Oaks in and talk to him He will thank you and give you the Pokedex. Then go back to Viridian City and now you can buy Pokeballs and things at the Poke Mart and use the Poke Center labled POKE.It is suggested to buy Pokeballs to catch Pokemon. You can now cross in to Viridian forest. There are three trainers first go all the way right as far as you can till you see a opening going north or up then go through it you will meet a trainer called Bug catcher the easiest trainers of all. beat the first trainer then keep going up until you see a passage way leading left or east. Take it and head left. Once it splits into two passage ways one leading up one leading down. Take the down one the go left then head up till you see a passage way leading left take it then head down or south follow it for a little while until you see it breaks up itno two ways the left way has a sign go that way then head up till you meet the third and last bug catcher then beat him and head up you will see the exit soon. Then you enter into a house exit the house at the top follow the path and you end up in pewter town where the first Gym leader! It is suggested you buy potion or level up to 15 before going against Brock and buy potions. Here are some moves suggested to use against him and/or pokemon squirtle use bubble beam water gun not takle because they are rock pokemon it dosen't do much damage Bulbasaur if you know vine whip use that or leech seed this is probably the hardest Gym for bulbasuar. Charmander not the hardest gym but hard recomended that you by a lot of potions or other pokemon not just charmander because if you have a pidgey or someother pokemon use no suggested moves for charmander. After you beat brock A: your pokemon should evolve or soon B: there is nothing left in town to do now. So exit the Gym and go to the POKE center to heal your pokemon. Then head up to the pokemart once you see it head right on the path go in the valley type place now you must fight some trainers after you get thru all the trainers you'll come to a opening with grass by the path this is a good place to catch Jigglypuff and Spearow after catching one or both head to the top right corner go up the thru the opening follow the path there will be another trainer fight him then head up there will be a pit stop Poke center to heal your self.

Part two encludes: Mt moon Cerulean city Misty's Gym Golden nugget road, Bill's house and the SS Ann.

Enter go forward until you see a traineer by a sign fight her and turn right take the narrow passage way leading upu enter a big room don't go down the ladder you see instead go to the top right corner, up and the turn left. Keep going that way for a while untill you see two pasage way one going up one going down take the down one. Don't go down the later you see instead keep going down. Fight the trainer and go left, then head up you will see a trainer named hiker fight him go above the later there is an item called the moon stone used to evolve certain pokemon explained later on a different page. Then go down the ladder go down the hall way. Turn left go down this new hall way go down the ladder. Now you you'll see stairs to the right go down them and fight rocket then keep going then go up the stairs then head left. Then head down and follow the path to a new ladder. go down it. You will then see a trainer with shell by him walk to him beat him and pick a pokemon fossil you want your choices are:
Omynite
Kabuto
Part 2 Then you'll see a ladder and your out of the tunnel. Follow the path into Cerulean city. This is where Misty's Gym is. Go to the pokemon center heal your pokemon and go to Misty's gym. Beat the Two trainers it should be easy. Then hopefully you can beat misty too. After you beat Misty go up to the top left corner up to these stairs a big climb but first you have to beat your rival. Beat him and head up the stairs there are trainers on the stairs to fight beat all five and then a guy at the top gives you a nugget and asks you to join team rocket then you have to battle him. Then go right after you beat him on your way to Bill's house. Beat the trainers on the way to bills house. When you get to Bill's house walk in but Bills not there talk to the creature that is Bill. He will go in the telepoter thing and sk you to push the buttons on his desk. Do what he says and he will come out and give you a cruise ticket to SS. Ann a famous cruise ship in Vermillion city. Go down the road you came go right once your all the way down the long stairs go right you will see a police officer by a house go in the houseby the man in the back in the house there is a crack go thru it. There will be a team rocket member there battle him after you beat him you get the tm dig and you can head to Vermillion city. go to the right then head down thru a narrow part follow the path going down you'll see a road and when you go down the road you'll see the Day Care that raises levels of your pokemon. You can get to it by the road at the top jump over the fence like thing there will be a lot of fence like thing keep jumping by walking over them after a while you'll see a house thats the way to the Day Care. Now jump over the last fence like thing and you'll see a small house/hut thing go in it's the passage way to Vermillion city. you'll see a path once your out of the passage follow the path you will then have to fight a few trainers. When your done you have reached the city!!!!

Part 3 includes: inside the SS. Ann the HM cut Surges Gym And getting flash the HM.

Once inside it is best you go in all the rooms becase if you fight a gentlemen you get a whole lot of money and you can find tms like body slam and things. After you have found those things if you go to the left it leads to the kitchen in one of the trash cans on the right go up to the middle one and hit the A button to find a greatball. leave the kitchen go back to the entrance then head right this time to find a stair case go down it to find a hallway pretty narrow with rooms go right to the captains room but your rival stops you and you have to battle. When you have beat him go itno the captains room. talk to him he is to sick to teach you cut so you pat him on the back and he is not sick anymore then he gives you the HM cut. it is suggested before you leave the boat you get all the goodies because once you get cut and leave the boat the captain sails away. Next you have to go to the Surges Gym. In Surges Gym There are three trainers it is best to beat them all now walk up to each hit the A button in one of them you will find a switch look in others to find another but
