PAIN FACTOR

THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONTRUCTION

From fist hand experience I can HONESTLY say that piercing doesn't hurt as much as it is expected to. I have often walked into a piercing studio overcome with nerves only to walk out again wondering why I was so nervous. If you wanna do it then go for it but do try to go to a body piercers that specialise in body piercing (not a tattoo parlour that do piercings as a side line)otherwise you may end up with a painful piercing. The best in my area East Sussex, UK is Perforations follow this link for their website.

Follow this link for non-specific gender surface and body piercings

This table is drawn up from both experience and the things that friends have told me to give you a ROUGH idea as to what you can expect pain-wise. If you have any comments or would like to add a new piercing to the list e-mail me at jennyterry@hotmail.com. It is only a rough guide and everyone has different pain thresholds so don't quote me on this, however I still stress that piercing is relatively painless and a lot of places offer anesthetic.

See, this person doesn't look too distressed do they?

There are piercings that are not included in this list but watch this space for up-dates. If you wish to fill in the gaps e-mail me.
