At death, the spirit of a mad killer named "Charles Lee Ray" (Chucky) is transported into a "Good Guy" doll before he is killed by a Detective. Later the next day it is a young boy's Birthday named "Andy". He wanted a "Good Guy" doll more then anything. But his mother did know about the doll in time to save up for it. Later at work, her best friend tells her that a peddler out side is selling a "Good Guy" doll. Reluctantly she leaves her post to buy the "Good Guy" doll for $50.00. She takes the new doll home to her son and he swiftly opened it. His mom had to work late that night, and she had her best friend watch Andy for her. Something came on the news about Charles Lee Ray, that chucky wanted to hear, but Andy's mom's best friend made Andy goto bed and he took the doll with him. Later that night Chucky made her his first victim. Only Andy know's who chucky really is, and for that he must take over Andy's soul and body if he ever wants to become human again. But no one will listen to Andy when he says "It's chuck"
