WJ Photo Album!

Hey guys! Thanks for visiting my photo album! I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures!

Day One - the begining!

Little did we know that we would paddle for the whole day and end up in the same spot! Oh well, it was worth it! No fun having a rest day on the first day, eh VA?

The Mosquito!

Hey Laura, can you handle that pack on your own? I don't think so! Don't worry, despite the failure, I laughed so hard, I almost died! Especially since Laura was sporting neon yellow socks! You need more than one person to carry the "big mama" food pack!

Sally!

Silly Sally! You ripped a hole in your pants! Never fear, duct-tape to the rescue! You know you're a wilderness girl when you can use duct-tape to fix your pants!

Emma!

Emma eating our fruit leather stuff, which is just basically dehydrated fruit in the form of a fruit roll-up. This is after we washed sunlight out of our hair on the site when Meredith asked, "Where do we get the wood?"

Watch out! Leech Infested Waters ahead!

This is Beth's foot with a leech on it. This was our first official leech, because it was the first sucking action we got. "It feels funny!" says Beth, our fearless leader!

Do that Do!

Paul, this is a good mohawk, but mine was definately better, don't you agree? Hee hee hee, just joking! A fine effort by our main man, Paul.

Oops!

What did you do Sally? Sally tipped over a canoe! It was originally very funny, but she doesn't look happy in this picture! Oh well, we were getting to a rest day anyway!

Beautiful!

This is by far my favorite picture! The water, the sky! This day was so exciting! Knee high in water, climbing over beaver dams... well, I didn't have to walk in the water, I soloed a canoe! Lucky me!

The Pickpocket!

On a rest day, what better to do than Paul's six minute ab workout! This is the pickpocket, I think it's everyone's favorite! (Look at Paul's muscles in the background! ohhh, girls!)

Go Canada!

Here we are on day 8, showing off our Canadian flag! How patriotic our we?

It's day 8... Time for the boys!

Our much awaited meeting on day 8, half way, with Jack and Jorgi! Oh, let's not forget the Va too! We have from left to right, no rows or anything, Chip, David, Ben, Dave, David, Laura, Jessie, Kate, Brian, Emma, Jill, Andrew, Emily, Catherine and Sally!

Guys do Dishes!

Surprise surprise, there are guys doing dishes! No, I'm not like that, but they had to. They came two hours late, and we had to set up everything without them! Serves them right! We have (l to r) Dave (walking), Andrew, Fraser, Geoff, and Andrew!

Fraser!

Okay, yeah, in a contest of who is the best looking guy on the VA, Fraser wins hands down! Look how cute he is!

What ARE you doing Paul?

Ya ya, so we did get a little valley girlish after seeing the VA guys, but I'm sure we didn't look like that!

Paul?

Okay, that's enough... let's get on with it!

Jill and Me!

We're at the ghost town, and Jill and I stop for a little pose! Aren't we cute?

Laura!

Look how nice Laura is! She's making us lunch! I love this picture too because of the church steeple in the background and everything! "Ani" looks so pretty with that flower in her hair! Ahhh! So cute! :)

The fire tower!

Yikes! Here is Paul climbing the fire tower to see if it is safe! That climb was by far the scariest thing I've ever done in my life! But it was so worth it... look at the view...

The View!

Can it get more beautiful? I don't think so. Imagine yourself looking out on this view. You can see our past two sites! It was amazing, well worth the scare!

Zircon anyone?

Is that even how you spell it? I don't know, but I saw some very beautiful rocks at that abandonned mine! The first from camp Tawingo to go there too! What an honour!
