From the 80's
One of my favorite things to do is go to The Church, a
gothic club in Dallas. It's usually called Lizard Lounge,
but on Sunday and Thursday nights it becomes The Church
and the mood is 80s. My good good friend Eddie (like a big
brother to me) introduced me to it. He also sort of
re-introduced me to music from the 80s such as Depeche Mode
and The Cure. My psycho roommate from last semester also listened to similar music like
Front 242, Switchblade Symphony, Sisters
Of Mercy, etc., and although she herself was a bad experience,
her music wasn't. I don't listen to this music on a
regular day to day basis, but I like to hear it sporadically.. I would
call it my clubbing music.
