Which when I looked upon I knew

As loud as a thunder blast,
That when I heard inside I saw
I'd found true love at last.

I remember when my heart did skip
A beat as I gazed at you,
And your crystal eyes just screamed the words
'Darling, I love you too'.

I remember when my heart did leap
Straight into endless wonderlands,
The first time that our fingers touched
And we held on hand in hand.

I remember when my heart did fly
And feel so light and free,
As I held you close within my arms
And knew you're there with me.

I remember when my heart did soar
Into ecstasy and bliss,
Every time your lips touched mine
And sealed them with a kiss.

I remember when my heart did cry
A tear in your eye when I did see,
And I loathed the one to cause such pain
Whether friend or foe or me.

I remember when my heart did break
With every moment far from you,
Because 'you' and 'me' make one of 'us'
And not a pair of two.

I remember when my heart did bleed
And the joy in my life just died,
When I saw you fear or fret
And specially when you cried.

I remember when my heart did cease
At the thought of you not there
And not another word came out...
