*sunday, april 28
I'm one of the only kids I know who doesn't like the rain. I like The Rain Song (confuses Giulia when we're talking about both that song and Fool In The Rain) and I guess I don't mind being inside when it's raining, but I'd have to be pretty damn drunk before you're going to get me to go walk around in it. Which has happened before, par example that night at Kos when I went for a run with Julia. Now that was a quality night... Courtney and I were talking about the different dirty bars that people go to just so they can get drunk... like the girls in grade 11 who go to the Brunny because they think it's fun, but they actually dress up and take it goddamn seriously, or like us (Courtney said "those kids") who went to Kos just because they didn't card (here she laughed). *sigh* Obviously, Tuesday's gone with the wind.
It's not that I have anything against rain- nothing particulary bad has ever really come from it that has directly influenced me, but I'm just not a fan of the whole "let's walk in the rain" thing. I'd prefer to keep my feet dry. And I'm not speaking metaphorically here, just so you know. I guess this aforementioned idea of walking in the rain comes with a certain idea of an atmosphere which is then created with the act, but I don't work like that. Certain things have specific moods about them to me, but usually it's an individual thing- most people don't agree with me. Like how some people say they like Sundays because they have a specific mood, but to me it's more than just chilled out, it's like.. dread. I guess I'm just not a big fan of school. And there's still so much left to go...
