So much pressure to update from all sides. Jesus Christ. (Well, he didn't pressure me to update, but it's possible.) I wrote a story today... It personifies thought. I enjoy it a lot- it's kinda silly, but that makes it funny. It's thundering outside... (I wonder what the weather is like in Halifax?) I remember describing thunder as a good way for the sky to release itself. Ominous skies present tension and thunder is the knotting out of the muscles in the air. I dunno about rain, though... Everyone seems to like it except for me. I guess I'm just a little more traditional on that account... Or maybe it's quite the opposite of tradition. Tradition would mean the rain is good, as it feeds the crops and what not. Hm- a plane, or thunder? One never can tell with bees.
Julian says to me "Why are you still up?" I s'pose that IS a legitamite question at 12.21am.... But I don't have an answer. I stayed up until almost 2am last night, whining and kicking all the way because I didn't want to do the work i absolutely HAD to, whereas today I just am. Am staying up this late. It seemed like the right thing to do. Maybe it was that 'nap' I took in Science in Society.
I still can't believe tomorrow's Thursday, it feels like it'll be Tuesday. Weekend in Halifax revived my soul. But now I'm all lovesick and it's quite strange. I can't believe I fell in love with some kid on a street corner. Who does that, I ask you, who? I have "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" by The Band stuck in my head. It's an excellent tune, if you'd consider downloading it. Even if you don't like it the first time, give it a second chance. I cleaned my room today, which is something I've been meaning to do for 3 years. Obviously it's a big task, or I would have done it three years ago and therefore haven't finished, but I cleared a coupl'a shelves and one day this year I'll have a whole new bigger-looking room. One day I'll dig out that pegasus whose wings beat when you pull the string and hang it from my ceiling. Back in the day it seemed like everyone had one of those- where did everyone go?
