CHAPTER 1

A missing Spirit

"Ahh, what a lovly morning!" sighed Sailor Saphire, as she walked through the Flower Feilds. It was a pretty sunshiny day, and she loved it like this. Her short blue hair blew around in the breeze, her leotard sparkeled under the sunlight, and she could tell it was going to be a fine day.

"Yo! Saphire!"

"Hun? Oh, hi Taiki. What's up?"

"Nothing much. I just came out here to read some of my books and get away from those crazy brothers of mine."

"Oh, is Seiya awake?"

"He is, but Saphire are you going to annoy him?"

Saphire giggeled. "Maybe! Were is he?"

"In the Dining Room, having his breakfast."

"Thank you!" called Saphire as she ran off to the palace.

"Hey, whatch were you're going!" called Yaten, almost getting knocked over.

"Sorry, Yaten." Saphire called back.

As Saphire got to the palace and rounded a corner she got into the dining room. Seiya was there.

"Hi Seiya!" she said excitedly.

"Hi Saphire." Seiya moaned lightly as he tried to finish his breakfast. It was annoying enough to have her following him everywere but did it have to be when he was finally alone to think?

"When you're done with your food we could go outside! It's a great day outside!" suggested Saphire.

"Saphire, I have other things to do."

"Like what? It's not like there is anybody on the planet besides me,Emerald,Ruby,Amber and Pearl to listen to you and your brothers play music!"

"That's not what I had been planning to do."

"Well, what is it then?"

"Just go away, Saphire."

"Why are you so upset?"

"Please, Saphire, leave."

"Fine." she said at last walking slowly from the room.

"I don't get it. Why is he so sad?" she asked herself.

"I think I know." said a voice behind her.

"Ruby! You starteled me! I didn't think you were there!"

"Well, I am. I think Seiya is in love."

Saphire's heart jumped.

"You think so?" she asked half excited, half depressed.

"Yeah, from the way he talked he's in love and it isn't you!"

Saphire's heart shatered to a million pieces on the floor. Seiya was in love? How culd that be. If he didn't love her, it had to be one of the jewel Sailors or Kakyuu or...maybe somebody from...Earth.

"No..." she whispered.

Just then as Ruby walked away, Yaten came into the dining room. Saphire remained in the darkened doorway so they wouldn't see her.

"What's up bro?" asked Yaten, looking as happy as possible.

"Not much. Yaten I miss Earth. It's like..."

"Home? Yeah, I think we all feel that way. At least here we own the planet, though."

"I don't care. I miss...all the senshi. Even Haruka."

"You're kidding! We got plenty of senshi right here!"

"Yeah, and they are some of the reasons I miss Earth. I miss the girls back there. MichiRu, Haruka, Setsuna, Hotaru, Minako, Makoto, Rei, Ami, and...."

"Ohhhh. It's her isn't it. You miss Sailor Moon, don't you." said Yaten, knowingly.

"Yes. It's like....I'm missing my spirit without her. She's so important to me."

"Hey, man, chill out. She's in good hands. She has her Momaru-san. All we can do is think about Earth."

"I know...but...don't you ever want to....go back? And see them?"

Yaten was silent for a moment.

"Yes. I miss Minako-chan...alot...though...I think we wern't ment to be."

"How can you say that? You and Minako-chan were practically more than friends! You two worshiped each other!"

"Yeah, but I can't see her."

"So, go back to Earth! Find her! I know you can!"

"Seiya, don't be rediculous. Anyway, transform okay. You were more sensable as a girl, anyway." said Yaten as he left.,p> "Seiya is in love with...Sailor Moon?" Saphire thought. "How can that be!? I love him and yet he dosn't notice me, but he notices a girl with a boyfriend? That is so typical!! Seiya why don't you love me?" aksed Saphire, tears coming down her face.

"I wish....I could meet this Sailor Moon....she might be able to tell me....how to win his love...or at least, how to be his friend. I love him!" Saphire whispered, cluthing her fists. "And I will meet this Sailor Moon of his!! Either she takes his love and returns it faithfully, or she will die!!
