"Come on Jaymi! How long does it take to chose a test?" Isaac hissed. Jaymi stared helplessly at the rows of boxes of home pregnancy tests in front of her.
"I don't know! You choose one if you think it's so easy!" Jaymi snapped. Isaac groaned and snatched a box from a shelf then handed it to Jaymi.
"Here. Just take this one! they're all the same!" Isaac said. He handed Jaymi some money.
"I'll wait in the car ok?"
"Why can't you come with me to pay for this?" Jaymi asked, not wanting to go to the counter alone.
"You don't need me to go with you Jaymi!" Isaac said, sounding annoyed. Jaymi's face hardened.
"It took the two of us to do this and now it will take the two of us to buy this now move your ass and get up there with me!"
"Ok Ok" Isaac said as he walked behind Jaymi up to the counter. The checkout lady looked like she was in her 50's and when she saw what the two of them were purchasing, she gave the both of them a look of disgust and shook her head.
"Young people today... what is this world coming to?" She mumbled to herself. Isaac opened his mouth to say something to the lady but Jaymi stopped him. About half an hour later Jaymi was in her bathroom, staring at the clear tube that came with the test.
"I have to pee in this?" She asked herself. Jaymi sighed. An hour later, Isaac and Jaymi were locked in the bathroom, staring at the timer. Jaymi had hidden the tube in the medicine chest so the two of them couldn't watch it change color. The timer went off and Jaymi and Isaac glanced anxiously at each other.
"So if it's green then it's negative right?" Isaac asked. Jaymi read the box and nodded.
"If it's pink then you're gonna be a daddy" Jaymi said. Isaac smiled weakly and watched as Jaymi slowly opened the medicine chest door with her eye's closed.
"Close your eye's and we'll look at it together" Jaymi commanded. Isaac closed his eye's. Jaymi reached in and pulled out the tube. "Ok... One... Two... Three" Jaymi counted. On three both Isaac and Jaymi opened their eye's. Jaymi took one look and burst into tears. It was pink. She dropped the tube onto the counter and sank to her knees. Isaac knelt down beside her and wrapped his arm's around her.
"Shhhh... it's ok... we'll get through this" Isaac said.
"I can't be pregnant... but I am... oh god Ike.. our parents are gonna kill us" Jaymi sobbed.
"We should go to a doctor... these tests are never fully accurate Jaymi... it say's so on the box..."
"I can't go to a doctor!" Jaymi cried out.
"We can go to one out of town... we can use fake names.." Isaac said.
"It wouldn't work... Isaac, people know who you are... even doctors... you can't use a fake name. If we go together then by the end of the week it will be all over the world that your girlfriend is pregnant... fuck, it will be all over the world that you have a friggin girlfriend!" Jaymi said. "If we did go to a doctor then I would have to go in alone"
"Wait, I have an idea. We could go to an out of town doctor, you can use a fake name but they don't have to know that I'm the father. You can just say that you don't know who the father is. Then they will just think Im there with you for support." Isaac reasoned.
"Yeah right, then they will think I'm a little slut who sleeps around!" Jaymi exclaimed. Isaac thought for a moment.
"Well, just say that you don't want to name the father because you think he won't take it well or something.". Jaymi looked as if she was considering Isaac's idea.
"Do you think it will work?" Jaymi asked. Isaac shrugged. "It's worth a try"
"Yeah... ok... at least you will be able to come in with me" Jaymi said. Isaac nodded.
"Well... are we gonna go?"
"What... now?"
"Well... yeah... we need to know Jaymi"
"Ok then... lets go" Jaymi said as she got up. She cleaned up the bathroom and Isaac and Jaymi were just about to walk out the door when Kayla came walking in.
"Jaymi! I have to talk to you" Kayla said. Jaymi could tell that Kayla had been crying about something but Isaac was already in his car.
"Can it wait Kay? I really gotta go now... we can talk when I get home ok?". Kayla took a deep breath.
"NO! it's not ok! I need to talk to you now Jaymi! I never see you anymore because you're always with Isaac!" "Kayla! I have to go right now! I will talk to you when I get home!" Jaymi snapped as she walked out the front door and slammed it shut.

"Life sucks" Taylor said.
"Why do you say that?" Mrs. Hanson asked as she, Mrs. Bennet and Mrs. Appleton walked into the living room where Taylor was sitting. Taylor looked up in surprise.
"Uhh... no reason... ok.. bye now" Taylor said as he made a quick exit.
He walked into the front den and sat down so that he could see out of the front window. Nothing interesting there. Taylor sat in silence for about 3 minutes. "Yep... life definitely sucks". He soon grew restless and got up to stare out the window. "What the?... nahh... couldn't be her" Taylor said as he saw a familiar figure walking towards his house. He went to the front door and opened it. He saw Kayla standing across the street. His eye's met hers and he then saw that she had been crying. He started walking towards her and she started across the street. Taylor was halfway across his lawn when he saw the car. Kayla saw the horrified look cross Taylor's face and then she was hit.
"KAYLA!! NOOOOOO!" Taylor screamed out as he watched helplessly as Kayla's body was flung against the windscreen of the car and then she rolled down the bonnet and landed heavily and lifelessly onto the road. The car backed up and sped away as Taylor raced forward to Kayla. He dropped to his knees and pulled Kayla so that the top half of her was in his lap.
"MOM! DAD! JULIA!! SOMEONE HELP!!" Taylor screamed as he rocked back and forth with Kayla in his arms. His arms, hands and shirt were being covered with Kayla's blood but he didn't care. Kayla had a large gash at the back of her head and Taylor pressed his hand down on it, trying to stop the bleeding. Her eyes were closed and she didn't appear to be breathing. Mrs. Hanson, Mr. Hanson, Mrs. Bennet and Mrs. Appleton all came racing out the open front door.
"OH MY GOD! KAYLA!" Mrs. Bennet screamed as she knelt down next to her daughter and pulled her away from Taylor.
"Taylor! what happened?" Mr. Hanson asked frantically as Mrs. Hanson ran back inside to call 911.
"Sh- she got hit by a car... she was crossing the street and she got hit!" Taylor said through his tears.

Jaymi and Isaac were looking for a doctor's office and weren't having much success. Suddenly Jaymi gripped Isaac's arm.
"Turn around!..... NOW!" She screamed. Isaac jumped.
"What?" He asked, confused.
"Ike.. you have to turn the car around! we have to go home now! something's wrong!" She exclaimed, near tears.
"But what about the doctor?" Isaac asked her.
"Stuff the bloody doctor! turn this damn car around Ike.... please now!" She cried. Isaac did so and started towards home.
Kayla was being loaded into the ambulance as Isaac and Jaymi pulled up into the Hanson's driveway. Jaymi was out of the car before Isaac had even turned off the engine.
"What happened?" She asked fear in her voice and eyes. Ms Bennet hugged her daughter and explained to her what had happened.
"Kayla was hit by a car." Jaymi felt like her heart had just been ripped from her chest. Tears started steaming out of her eyes.
"No, that's not Kayla in there.... she wasn't hit! NO! YOUR WRONG!!" Jaymi screamed. Ms Bennet let go of her daughter, unable to cope with Jaymi's pain. Isaac took Ms Bennet's place, wrapping his arms around Jaymi.
"Oh god no! Oh my god no! please let her be ok! IS SHE OK?" Jaymi screamed her question out to anyone who would listen. She was now sobbing heavily. Jaymi suddenly sprang out of Isaac's grip and sprinted for the ambulance. A paramedic blocked her way.
"I'm sorry miss, but you'll have to stay over there." He said, pointing to where Isaac stood.
"WHAT!!??! That's my sister! You have to let me see her! Let me go god damn it!" Jaymi screamed, kicking and clawing the paramedic with all the strength she had in her. Eventually Isaac came over and gently pulled Jaymi away. Jaymi clung to Isaac, sobbing so hard her shoulders were heaving up and down.
"Where's Taylor? does he know? where is he?" Jaymi asked Isaac frantically.
"He with a police officer... he saw the whole thing Jaymi... god, I can't believe this is happening!" Isaac said, silent tears running down his face. Jaymi suddenly thought back to the twins conversation that had taken place just a hour ago.
"Oh god! we were fighting! She wanted to talk to me but I told her to wait until I got home! Oh god Isaac! what if she dies! I cant tell her Im sorry! Kayla I'm so sorry!" Jaymi wailed. Isaac was trying hard not to break down at the sight of Jaymi. He couldn't bear to see her in so much pain.
