"So how old is this C.J girl anyway?" Zac asked from the back seat of Isaac's car. Jaymi sighed.
"I've told you about 5 times now Zac... she's twelve... she's only a day younger than you" She said.
"Ohhh yeah... that's right. We've met her before haven't we?" Zac asked.
"Yep" Jaymi said. It was only Jaymi, Isaac and Zac going to pick up C.J. Kayla and Taylor were at Taylor's house, baby-sitting Mackenzie and Zoe. Zac sat back in the seat and tried to remember what C.J looked like. All he could remember was that he didn't like her very much... and that she didn't like him. He was starting to wonder why he had agreed to go with Isaac and Jaymi to get C.J. Once they got to the air port they discovered that C.J's flight had been delayed for 2 hours.
"2 hours... what are we supposed to do for 2 hours?" Zac whined.
"Zac shut up" Isaac said.
"You shut up." "Zac, don't start."
"Zac, don't start." Zac repeated.
"Knock it off!"
"Knock it off!"
"So you're repeating everything I say are you?" Isaac asked, knowing what Zac would do.
"So you're repeating everything I say are you?"
"Well Zac's a moron" Isaac said.
"Well Zac's a - HEY!" Zac cried out once he realized what he was just about to say about himself. Isaac and Jaymi cracked up and watched as Zac stomped off to a seat and plonked himself down. About half an hour later, Zac's complaining got on Isaac's nerves and decided to take him to a nearby Mall. Jaymi told him that she would stay at the airport, just in case C.J's flight came early. When the boys left Jaymi gave herself a tour of the airport. She already knew it like the back of her hand, but she couldn't think of anything better to do. Jaymi was just passing a small gift shop when she heard a wolf whistle. Thinking it was Isaac, Jaymi turned around, then gasped with horror.
"What the hell do you want?" Jaymi spat out at the figure standing before her. Mark laughed.
"Well, its nice to see you to!" He said, a sarcastic tone in his voice. Jaymi started to walk away but was stopped when Mark roughly grabbed her arm.
"Let go of me!" Jaymi exclaimed. She suddenly thought back to just a month earlier. This can't be happening again! Oh god, don't let this happen again! Jaymi pleaded to herself. Mark laughed again and his grip on her arm grew tighter.
"No way baby! I'm going to finish what we got started!" He said, and started to drag her in the direction of the door leading out to the car-park.
"MARK! LET ME GO!!!!" Jaymi screamed as she tried to pry Mark's fingers from her arm.
"Hey! is there a problem here?" A male voice asked from behind them. Mark whirled around, his eyes filled with anger and annoyance.
"Piss off! this aint your business!" Mark told the guy.
"Help me! I don't know this guy!" Jaymi cried, her eyes searching the guys to see if he believed her. He did.
"Hey, why don't you just leave her alone? She obviously doesn't want to go with you"
"Look! Piss off will ya? She's my girlfriend, we just had a fight, she's being difficult, you know how girls get!" Mark lied.
"NO I'M BLOODY NOT!" Jaymi screamed. Just then Jaymi saw someone running up to the three of them. "IKE!" She cried. She yanked her arm out of Marks grip and ran to her boyfriend. "What's going on here?" Isaac asked, looking from Mark to Jaymi then to the mysterious guy. Mark raised his hands, as if to protect himself.
"Hey, she came up to me! She wanted to go to my car! Your girlfriend there is a little slut if you ask me!" Mark said. Jaymi's eye's went wide.
"YOU LYING SON OF A BITCH!" She yelled and tried to hit him, only Isaac held her back. Mark suddenly took off, running out of the large double sliding doors and into the car park. Jaymi then thought of what could have happened if that guy hadn't shown up and burst into tears.
"Hey, its ok now..I'm here now, he's not going to come near you again." Isaac whispered soothingly to her. He then looked at the guy.
"Hey man, thanks, that isn't the first time that guy has tried that"
"It's ok..I saw the girl in trouble and came over to see what the problem was..by the way..I'm Rick" He said. Isaac shook his hand.
"I'm Isaac and this is Jaymi....thanks again. Who knows what could have happened if..." Isaac had to stop talking as his voice started to tremble.
"Yeah well...I hope she's going to be ok....I have a plane to catch now...cya around.." Rick said, then hurried off to his gate. Isaac turned to Jaymi.
"Are you ok? I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have left you here by yourself!" he sounded frantic.
"Yeah..I'm ok now...hey...where's Zac?" Jaymi suddenly asked.
"Back at the gate. Come on..we better go back.". Jaymi nodded and they made their way back to find Zac. They found Zac, trying to bribe a chocolate bar out of a shop keeper. He was claiming that since he was Zac Hanson, then the shop keeper should give him what he wanted. Fortunately the shop keeper thought it was a joke, but gave him the chocolate anyway, saying that he was a cute kid.
"Cute? Kid? Im not a cute kid!" Zac said, disgusted.
"Hey! what took you guy's so long anyway?" Zac questioned the pair. Jaymi quickly explained the reason. "Are you ok?" Zac asked her, his eye's wide with concern. She just nodded and then sat down on one of the hard, plastic chairs.
----------------------------------------
The closer the plane got to Tulsa, the more nervous C.J got. Sure, she didn't really like Zac all that much but Isaac and Taylor were going to be there. Just because Jaymi and Kayla were going out with the boy's, and she was going out with Jake, didn't mean she didn't think that Isaac and Taylor were extremely cute. She took a deep breath and slowly let it out. She was the only person her age sitting near her and the woman she was sitting next to spoke only Spanish. The plane soon landed in Tulsa and C.J took her time to gather her things and make her way off the plane. Jake had gone with C.J and Mary to take C.J to the airport. She missed him already but she was glad to get away from her father and her brothers. Her only worry was her mother. Mary had promised to call C.J every night and tell her how she was. C.J slowly walked through the gate and then she looked for some familiar faces.
"C.J!! OVER HERE!!" A female voice squealed. Suddenly C.J was wrapped up in a hug. C.J laughed and hugged her friend back. Jaymi stepped back and grinned at C.J.
"God you haven't changed a bit!" she exclaimed.
"Gee thanks... I had hoped I would look a little different without the braces!" C.J joked, smiling. Jaymi took C.J by the hand and led her over to some plastic seats. C.J soon recognized Isaac and Zac but she noticed that Taylor and Kayla were missing. Soon the four of them were heading back to Jaymi's house.
"How's your Mom and Brian and Brad and Brendon?" Jaymi asked, turning in her seat to face C.J.
"They're fine" C.J said quietly. She then glanced at Zac. At the same time he looked over at her.
"What are you looking at?" He asked.
"Nothing"
"Good... keep it that way" Zac said.
"Zac! knock it off will ya?" Isaac said from the front seat.
"Yeah Zac... that was really rude" Jaymi said, frowning at him. Jaymi turned around and Zac stuck his fingers up at both of them behind their backs. They soon arrived at Jaymi's house and C.J was greeted by Mrs. Bennet and Malcom.
"Zac, can you grab C.J's suit case?" Isaac asked, walking inside and leaving C.J and Zac outside by themselves.
"It's fine... I can get it" C.J said as Zac started to lift the case from the trunk of the car.
"Don't bother... oof, god! what do you have in this thing?" Zac asked as the case fell from his hands. C.J bent down and picked up the case as if it was the lightest thing on earth.
"Just my stuff... it's not that heavy." C.J said, glaring at Zac as she walked past him and into the house. Zac stood in the yard for a full five minutes, glaring at the front door before he stomped into the house.
"Zac, I asked you to carry in the case... why did C.J walk in with it?" Isaac asked once he caught sight of his younger brother.
"Because he's to weak" C.J announced as she walked past the two boys and up the stairs to her room.
"I am not!" Zac called out after her. He got no response.
