Jaymi looked up from her bed when she heard the front door close. Kayla and Malcom were home. Jaymi knew that Kayla would come straight up to her room and then she would see that Jaymi had been crying and then Jaymi would have to explain why. She didn't want to do that but she knew that she would end up doing it anyway. She sat up and waited for her sister.
"Hey Jaymi!!!" Kayla yelled out, running up the stairs. She burst into her sisters room. "Oh my god what's wrong?" Kayla asked, running to her sisters side. Jaymi instantly burst into tears and choked out her story. When she was finished, Kayla's face was filled with rage. "God damn that Alexis! she just never stops does she?... I saw Taylor at the mall today... he was with her and she had her arm wrapped around his... he saw me and then ran after me and gave me some lame excuse about seeing her and not wanting to be rude. How crappy is that??... so now I have to chat to him in hansonline tonight..." Kayla said. Jaymi shook her head and sniffed.
"She's gonna split me and Ike up... I just know it" Jaymi said quietly. Kayla nodded.
"Don't let her. You love Ike don't you?"
"Of course I do"
"Well, don't let her get between you two. I think I have bigger problems where Alexis is concerned. She wants Taylor... and if I'm not careful then she'll get him" Kayla said.
"Hey.. you guy's all right?" Malcom asked, poking his head in Jaymi's doorway. The twins nodded.
"We're fine Mal" they said at the same time. He smiled.
"I love it when you guy's do that. Anyway... mom just called, she's gonna be late home so we get to order out for dinner... what do you guy's want?"
"Anything's fine with me... you might want to wait for Alexis to come home though... she might want something specific" Jaymi said. Malcom nodded.
"Yeah.. you're right.... ok then" He said and then disappeared. Kayla walked out of Jaymi's room and into her own. About half an hour later, Alexis returned home. She walked up the stairs and knocked on Kayla's door.
"Come in" Kayla said, sitting at her computer.
"Hi" Alexis said, walking in and sitting on Kayla's bed. Kayla turned to face her cousin. "Hi.." Kayla said, not sure what Alexis wanted.
"I just wanted you to know that you ruined my date with Taylor. As soon as you left he went straight home... and I was going to see a movie with him." Alexis said. Kayla's mouth dropped.
"This is my boyfriend your talking about. You weren't on a date with him Alexis... you saw him in the street and then you went to the mall together... it meant nothing to him do you understand?" Kayla said. Alexis shook her head.
"Taylor suggested the movie... you know guy's have only one thing on their minds when they do that. You better watch out Kayla... Taylor was ready to cheat on you... with your very own cousin" Alexis said, getting up. Without another word she walked out of Kayla's room and into her own. A few minutes later, Alexis had Greenday blaring out of her stereo. After dinner Kayla logged on to the internet and went into the hansonline chat room. It was her and one other person. Taylor wasn't there yet as it was still half an hour until 8:00pm. Kayla's nickname was kay15 and the other person in the chat room was tays girl. Kayla had to laugh when she saw the name. This was her conversation with the girl.:
kay15: hi.. are you there? --------------------------------------------
Taylor sat back and read through the conversation he just had with
Kayla. Well at least she didn't seem pissed off anymore. He thought.
Just then Isaac stormed into the room and slammed the door.
"I am so sick of this family!" He exclaimed, picking up a shoe and threw
it across the room, it hit the wall and landed on a pile of clothing.
"Well, gee.... thanks so much..." Taylor said, standing up to leave the
room but stopped himself as he remembered what Kayla had said about his
brother and Jaymi. "So, anything happen today?"
"No, anyway, if anything did then why the hell should I tell you?" Isaac
snapped.
"I don't know...but I happen to know that something DID happen...you
want to talk about it?" Taylor asked his brother, sitting down on his
bed. Isaac looked at Taylor.
"No... leave me alone!"
"Fine..." Taylor said and started to walk out of the room.
"Females are so damn confusing!" Isaac suddenly exclaimed. Taylor smiled
then turned around again.
"Tell me about it!"
"Jaymi and I had a fight today... and her cousin started it all!"
"Who Alexis? why? what did she do?". Isaac explained what happened
between him and Jaymi and then told Taylor what he had said to her about
Alexis sleeping with him. Taylor looked at his brother in disbelief.
"You must be really out of your mind! Have you already forgotten what
Jaymi went through with Robbie and those other dickheads? man.... you
have totally blown it now! she aint ever gonna forgive you for that
one!" Taylor exclaimed. Isaac groaned, he already knew all this.
"I know! I know! what can I do? if I could take it back then I would! I
hate myself for saying it! I really do!" Isaac said, falling down into a
green and blue bean-bag. He started to pull out the stuffing
then suddenly got up. "I'm gonna go over there now..." He said, as
though he was already having second thoughts about his idea.
"Go on then..." Taylor encouraged his older brother. Isaac nodded then
left the room.
tays girl: sure is... you a hanson fan?
kay15: yep... i take it you are?
tays girl: oh yeah. i love Taylor... he is soooooo cute!
kay15: yeah i know. where do you live?
tays girl: Victoria in Australia... u?
kay15: Tulsa..
tays girl: OH MY GOD REALLY?? you are sooooo lucky!! have you ever met Hanson?
kay15: can't say i have... sorry. i've seen them walking in a mall near
me but i decided not to bother them. so i stayed away.
tays girl: you are so lucky just to have seen them!
tt12 has entered the conversation.
tt12: Kayla? are you here?
kay15: yep i am
tays girl: hi tt12.. how are you?
tt12: hey, i'm fine thanks... yourself?
tays girl: i'm great... are you a hanson fan?
tt12: you could say that
kay15: tt, we will talk later ok... Alexis told me some more stuff...
tt12: what stuff?
tt12: ok
tays girl: tt12... where do you live?
tt12: i live in Tulsa... along with kay15... we know each other.
tays girl: COOL! have you ever met hanson???
tt12: uhh...well, yeah, I guess i have...but only for a few mins tho.
tays girl: WOW!! really????? what are they like????
tt12: well, to tell ya the truth they aren't all that good, i think the
stardom is getting to their heads.
kay15: WHAT? how could you say that tt? you know as well as i do that
they are GREAT guys...some of the time!
tays girl: I thought you hadn't met Hanson kay15...
kay15: I havent...but tt12 knows them pretty well..
tays girl: oh ok..well, if you know tt12 then why doesn't she introduce
you to them?
tt12: HA! i'm not a girl!! i'm a guy tays girl! lol..(laughing out loud)
hmm...where did ya come up with the name tays girl? have you ever met hanson?
tays girl: well, i love Taylor sooooooooo much!!! and one day i hope
that he will be mine! ok well, it was great talking to you both, i have
to go now...BYE!
tays girl has left the conversation.
kay15: thank god..now we can talk...Alexis told me that it was YOU who
suggested the movie..
tt12: WHAT?!?! no way...Kay I would NEVER cheat on you! look, we need to
actually TALK about this, typing is so impersonal...I'll call you tomorrow ok?
kay15: ok...i swear i will end up killing Alexis! did you hear about
that happened between Ike and jaymi?
tt12: no...what???
kay15: ask Ike...I have to go.. Malcom and Jaymi are watching a movie
that i haven't seen....i'll talk to ya 2morrow, bye
