Sabrina

The day finally came for the Hanson’s to leave on tour. Diana and Walker had reluctantly agreed to let Karen come with them. Isaac was with Sabrina and she was helping pack the last of his belongings.

“Where are you guys headed first?’ she asked folding one of Isaac’s nice green shirts.

“Umm, we’re headed to Australia first.”

“Cool. So is Ugly Phil gonna leave Zac alone about the non existent rap act the two of them are not planning?”

“Probably not.” Isaac chuckled. Sabrina picked up a pair of Isaac’s nice pants and was folding them as well.

“I can’t believe that you fold my clothes.” He smiled.

“Well I… I...”

“Don’t get all embarrassed on me. I love being able to have nice cloths ready for me. You always fold them so nicely. And I usually can smell you on them. It makes me feel better about not being with you.” Sabrina blushed.

“Well, I just feel the need to take care of you.” She said.

He went to her and pulled her to her feet. “I wish you would have asked me to take you on the tour. I would have been able to get to mom and dad before Taylor.”

“No. Karen wants to go and I don’t blame her. But I don’t like inviting myself.”

Isaac chuckled slightly. “Do you ever think about yourself?” He asked rubbing his hands up and own her bare arms. He leaned over and kissed her. “I’m gonna miss you so much.” He said.

“I’m gonna miss you too.”

Isaac let her go pushing his hair behind his ear trying not to cry in front of the woman he loved.

She went over to her backpack and pulled out a package. “Isaac…here. This is for you.”

He took it and looked at her. He smiled and opened it.

“Since you’re gonna be gone during the winter I thought you might like this.”

He pulled the sweater out of the package. His eyes widened. “Did you make this Rina?” he asked fingering the sweater gingerly.

“Yeah, I made it a couple of days ago.”

“I love it, thank you so much.” He hugged her.

“You’re welcome.” She held onto him for a few minutes longer. “Well, you’re all packed you should get going.” She said wiping her eyes.

“Yeah… I should. I’m gonna miss you.”

“Oh, come on now. I’ll e-mail you every day…you can call when you can…we won’t not ever talk to each other.” She said smiling.

“I know but it’s not the same as being able to hold you close or kiss you or even play with your hair when I’m reading.”

“Well, you’ll be back in the summer so when that comes I’ll still be right here waiting for you.” She took his hand and grabbed one of his bags he grabbed he other and held tightly onto her small hand.

They walked out of his room and down to the drive way where his family was loading the rest of the bags into the car. Taylor saw the sweater that Ike was holding.

“Hey Ike, where did you get that?”

“Rina made it for me.”

“Wow Rina, I love it. Can I borrow it, Ike?”

“Nope.” He grinned.

“Oh Taylor, for you. Hold on let me go and get my pack.” She let Isaac’s hand go and she ran back up the stairs and on her way she found Karen.

She snickered at Sabrina. “So how does it feel to be left behind like yesterday’s garbage?”

“They can’t take me. I understand their parents have the one friend rule.”

“But Ike didn’t think enough to ask first.” She said. “Ike probably is glad that he is leaving you behind.”

Sabrina shook her head and went upstairs and got her pack and ran back down. “Tay, Zac, come here.” Both came to her quickly.

“Taylor. this is for you.” She handed him a drawing of himself and his brothers.

“Wow Rina, thanks.” He hugged her as Karen was walking out.

Karen’s face grew dark and mean. She walked right over to them. Taylor had just let Sabrina go out of the hug when Karen grabbed Taylor and pretend to have to tell him something. When they got far enough in the distance Zac turned back to Sabrina.

“I really don’t like her much.” He said.

“Well Zac, Taylor really likes her. So be tolerant.”

“I know, I know. So what did you get me, huh, huh?”

She pulled out a manuscript. “I thought you might like to read this. I know how much you like action so I thought you might like to read over the story I just finished and you might correct it for me.

“Cool, I love correcting your stuff.”

“I know. Now go get yourself ready to leave.”

“Okay bye,” he hugged her. “We’re all gonna miss you.” With that Zac walked away.

Isaac returned. “Dad says I have to go.”

“Okay,”

“You will take good care of the house won’t you?”

“Yes, don’t I always.”

“I know. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

He leaned down and kissed her. “Bye.”

“Bye.”

He left her arms and went to the car with his brothers and family. She watched him go. She wanted to go with him but she knew it wasn’t possible not till they were married. The van started up and began to pull out of the drive and she waved all of the Hanson’s waved and Karen gave her an evil look and held onto Taylor.
