Sabrina

The tour ended and they were finally able to go back to Tulsa and rest a while.

Isaac called Sabrina’s house and got the machine.

“Rina, this is Isaac meet me at the swings at midnight. I want to talk to you.” Isaac hung up the phone.

“What did she say?”

“She wasn’t home.”

“Do you think she’ll meet you?”

“Yeah, I do.”

“What are you going to say to her?”

“I don’t know yet. I’m nervous.”

“Don’t be. If I could tell Karen to go screw off then you can tell Sabrina this.”

“I know, I know.”

“Just take a deep breath and go for it.”

“I will.”

Sabrina got home from work. “Rina dear Isaac called he wants you to meet him by the swings at midnight.”

“Why?”

“He didn’t say.”

“That’s strange.” She went upstairs and got ready. She put on his Oklahoma State sweatshirt and her green shorts and pulled her hair into a messy pony and put on her gym shoes with no socks. “I’m leaving, Mom.”

“Okay, baby.”

She jogged to the park and walked slowly to the swings. There he was. Isaac was standing by the swings in a suit. Hair blowing in the wind. She went to him.

“Isaac, what’s up with the outfit?”

“Hey, Rina.”

She laughed out of nervousness. "I suddenly feel incredibly underdressed.” She said nervously.

“No, you look perfect.” He went to her and held her hands. “I have a question for you.”

“What?”

He got down on his knee.

Immediately she knew.

Isaac got home and his mother was waiting for him along with the whole family. They all gave him expectant looks.

“What?” He asked with a grin tugging on his lips.

“Oh, come on Ike, what did she say?” Taylor asked.

“”Yeah, come on Ike, don’t keep us waiting.” Jessie said.

“She said yes.” He said simply.
