Sabrina

The next morning Diana took Karen aside. “Karen, sweety?”

“Yeah, Diana?”

Diana inwardly grimaced. She hated the fact that Karen had never asked if she could call her Diana, she took the liberty of calling her Diana. “Dear, Walker and I think that you should move your stuff to the other bus. For publicity reasons. Girls have been seeing you get off this bus and rumors are flying on the Internet and we don’t want that.”

“But maybe it’s time to tell the world that Taylor and I are an item. Now if I were Sabrina I would understand completely why you wouldn’t want the world to know that she was dating your son. I don’t know why you don’t have Isaac break it off with her. She’s so homely looking. Isaac could do much better than her.”

“Sabrina is a very nice young lady.” Diana said trying to keep her cool with this annoying girl. “If Isaac wants to date her that’s his business anyway not yours or mine.”

“Still…”

“Still I would like you to move your things onto the other bus.”

“Fine, Diana.” She said angrily and stomped off.

If she were my daughter I’d club her. Diana thought to herself.

Several weeks had passed and Karen had become increasingly more and more annoying.

“Taylor, we will be in Oklahoma tomorrow, why don’t we just leave Karen there?”

“I don’t know I just don’t want her to go blabbing to the tabloids about us. I mean it’s not like we’ve done anything to her but still.”

“I know what you mean. But personally I can’t stand her much longer and I want to hold my tongue when she speaks but I don’t know how much longer that will last.’

“I know the feeling. Yeah, I’ll talk to mom and dad about it. How’s Rina?”

“Tired she has a heavy load at school this quarter.”

“Ahhh. How did the sweat shirt thing go? I never asked.”

“Well, I think she wears it all of the time now.”

“Well, I think if you wear that sweater much more there’s not gonna be anything left.”

“Boy, I know mom taught me grammar, did she skip you?”

“I’m tired, it made sense in my head, okay? Now shut up.” He said playfully.
