“Taylor, baby, can I go on tour with you guys? I’m really tired of missing you all of the time.” Karen pouted at Taylor running her nail down the side of his cheek.
“I don’t know, Karen. It’s not just up to me. I have to ask everyone.” Taylor said uncomfortably.
"You can persuade them if you really want me to go you will beg them until I can.” She said in a low whisper and then kissed him on his lips.
Taylor loved her kisses but he wasn’t sure of her request. 'Do I really want her to go with us?' he wondered to himself.
She broke the kiss slowly and looked up into his eyes. Her black ones showing mischief. “I have to go. I’ll catch you tomorrow.” She said smiling and she kissed him again.
“Okay, bye.” He said matching her tone. He walked her to the door and she stood on her toes and kissed him again, touched her hand to the side of his face and slowly let is slide to his chin and left closing the door behind her.
Taylor went upstairs to get his stuff for school and there he found his older brother sitting there reading a book with his girlfriend. Isaac was reading a book on the bed and Sabrina was on the floor in front of him drawing. Isaac held a piece of her long hair in his hand twisting and twirling the ends.
Why can’t Karen and I do this? He wondered. I love kissing her and everything but sometimes I would just like to be in the same room with her, near her, with out her all over me. Or trying to take off my clothes.
Sabrina looked up and saw Taylor in the room. Karen must have left. She thought. Better go. I don’t want to over stay my welcome.
“Well Ike, I probably should get going home.”
Isaac looked down at his watch. “Why? It’s only five.”
“I probably just should.”
“Stay for dinner.” Taylor suggested looking for a book on his desk.
“Yeah, stay for dinner.” Ike followed up his brother's remark.
“I stayed for dinner last night. I should just go home.” She smiled.
“Okay, if you’re sure.” Isaac said putting his bookmark back in his book.
“Yeah. I’ll e-mail you.”
Isaac laughed. “You can call me. We’re not on the road.”
“Yes, I know. But there are probably other people in this house that would like to you use the phone. And since we saw each other today I don’t think it would be fair of us to tie up the phone.” She said smiling.
“Fine, have it your way.” He stood up and leaned over and kissed her. “I’ll walk you to the door.”
“Okay.” She smiled.
Taylor watched them go feeling slightly jealous. There was a quality in Sabrina that he wished Karen had. Concern for others. He shrugged and sat down at the desk and opened his book. Isaac came back up and sat back down on the bed.
"Ike, Karen wants to go with us on tour.”
“Oh, she does?”
"Yeah.” Taylor said turning to his brother.
“I guess I don’t mind.” Isaac said slightly unenthused.
“Well, I know the only one friend rule. I won’t ask mom and dad if you want Rina to come.”
“She hasn’t asked. I know she won’t.”
Taylor nodded. “Ike, I know you don’t like Karen, if you don’t want her to go I understand and I won’t ask.”
“Tay, it doesn’t matter what I think of her, you like her. If you want to ask mom and dad to let us take her then I’m all for it.” Ike said sincerely.
“Okay.” Just then Zac walked in face all red and hair messed up roller blades slung over his shoulder.
“Have fun with Jake?” Ike asked from his position on the bed.
“Oh yeah, we had a blast. No one mobbed me. Shock, shock.”
Isaac laughed. “Well, that’s good.”
“Zac, question.” Taylor said.
Zac sat down on the floor. “Tay, answer.”
“Would you mind if Karen went with us on tour?” Zac looked at Isaac.
“I guess I wouldn’t mind. It’s really up to mom and dad. I don’t know think they want you or Ike to take girlfriends.” He said.
“I know, I know. But maybe since I’m sixteen now they will let me.”
“Ike’s eighteen.” Zac said logically.
“True.”
“I guess all you can do is ask and see, Tay.”
“Yup.”
