The day of the press conference where he would tell the world that he had a girlfriend was about to take place. He was nervous. He hoped the response was good. The article had been written and it was about to be run in Tulsa World this upcoming week.
Diana checked her boys over one more time before they went on.
“Taylor, are you sure about those pants?”
“Mom, I like them. They look good on me.”
“Okay, if you think so.”
“Okay, boys time to go on.”
“Okay.” They chorused. They walked out to the table and sat down.
“Hello guys.” One reporter stood up. “Taylor, is it true what was written in your hometown paper?”
“No, it’s not.”
“So you didn’t get this girl pregnant?”
“No, I did not. If I had I would have taken full responsibility for it. But the baby that Karen is pregnant with is not mine. It is a friend of mine who is her boyfriend.”
The reporter seemed satisfied with that answer. He sat down.
“How’s the tour going?”
“Great.” Zac volunteered.
The reporters laughed slightly at his enthusiasm. After several more questions they asked about girlfriends.
“No.” Zac said.
“Not me.” Taylor echoed.
“I do.” Isaac stated proudly.
A hum was heard throughout the audience.
“Is it the girl in the story?”
“No, it’s not. She’s a real great girl and she and I have been going out for a couple of weeks now. I’ve known her a while. She and I have been friends for years. She’s a beautiful sweet girl that I love to spend time with and that I miss terribly right now.”
There was a silence and then there was a cheer from the fans. Then he heard one girl shout.
“About damn time, Isaac Hanson!!”
He and his brothers laughed. “Thank you for your support girl in the green shirt that I swear I have one of.”
The girls in the audience laughed. “That’s what my friends tell me all the time.” She said back.
Just then a guard shushed her and told her to sit back down.
“No, it’s okay let them speak. They ask the questions that they don’t know.” Taylor said.
The reporters kinda laughed and the fans cheered.
