"Mom and dad won't be coming in until this weekend. Or at least, mom definitely will be here." Randy murmured as she picked disinterestedly at her salad and looked over a long list. "Dad may be stuck in the office again if he doesn't wrap up this merger soon."

Taylor looked up from his list and put his spoonful of rice back down. "This weekend?" He squeaked out.

Randy nodded distractedly, "Yeah…" She looked up after moment, "why?"

He swallowed hard and looked around the table. Isaac was too busy playing with his food and the girls had already been excused. His gaze landed on Lilah, who was going through her folder of lists and layouts.

Nervously, he played with his collar. "You know your mom hates me." He grumbled before grabbing his water. Gulping some down, he tried to cool his rapidly drying throat.

She smiled enigmatically at him before getting up and wrapping her arms from behind him, around his shoulders. Loudly, she smacked his cheek with her lips. "You know, it doesn't matter if she does or not. She's not the one marrying ya."

He smiled weakly up at her, and pecked her quickly on the lips. "I know. I just wished her and I could get along." He sighed, "but she seems to be holding something against me."

Isaac glanced up from his plate, gracing them with his attention. "Do you know what?" He questioned curiously.

Taylor shook his head, "other than the fact I've taken up with their daughter, no."

Isaac nodded, "She seems to have something against me too. Zac as well. I don't know why either." He shrugged, "maybe it's all just wrapped up around you though."

Taylor rolled his eyes, "Thanks, Ike. Make me feel all better why don'tcha?" He grumbled, crossing his arms in front of him and pouting.

They heard Lilah's giggle, even though she tried to keep it quiet, and grinned at her.

Isaac fell a little deeper at her carefree smile.

"You know, its usually the father's that are upset at the guys for taking their daughters away, and the mother's are upset at the girls for taking their sons away. But the fact that she would hold a whole family responsible for it, is quite…" she giggled again, "uh…different."

They laughed at her proclamation.

Randy shrugged, "Well, what can I say?" She smiled impishly, "My family is definitely unique."

Taylor laughed loudly, "Oh, there's something new!"

Feigning anger, she smacked him lightly in the head. "Shush. Like you can talk with your family of musical genius'."

He grinned, "Weeeeeell." He shrugged as well, "What can I say? We're unique."

She hit him for real that time and Isaac watched on in good humor, and smiled more and when he noticed Lilah was just amused as he was. Realizing, she fit in so well with his family already.
