"What the…" Shana Reed started as the door to her tour bus burst open and people started piling in.

"Lock the door. Lock the door." The little one shrieked frantically.

"We got it! We got it!" The tallest one shouted.

Shana stared at them. "Umm, excuse me. But most people usually knock before they open a closed door, and then they wait to be invited in." She pointed out slowly. Just in case they wouldn't understand if she spoke fast.

"Sorry about this." The middle one apologized. "But we kinda ran into a slight problem." He stated as he wiped the sweat off his brow with the back of his hand.

"What problem?" Shana asked before her bus started to shake back and forth, there were screaming girls all around, snapping their cameras rapidly.

"That problem." The little one pointed to a girl hat was snapping a dozen pictures a second it seemed. He just pulled the blinds down.

"Oh, I see." Shana said nodding her head. Then she recognized who they were. "Ohh, I see." She said as she slapped her forehead.

Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson started laughing at her.

Shana just smiled. "Well, I'm afraid to say this; but I think those freaks out there are gonna wake up the monster."

"Monster? What monster?" Zac asked suspiciously.

"AHH!! What the hell is happening out there?!?!" Shannon Morrow asked as she walked out of the bedroom. She was rubbing her eyes tiredly. "I rolled over in my bed and some freakin' bitch was takin' pics of me!"

She stopped when she heard laughter. "Okay, I hear Shana's laugh; but I'm also hearing more. And that cannot be; 'cause God ain't that cruel to me." She said as she slowly took her hands away from her eyes.

She gasped when she saw Taylor, Isaac, and Zac sitting at the small makeshift table with Shana. "Okay, I'm dreaming." She said nodding to make sure she believed it herself; then she turned on her heel and went back to her bedroom.

Shana started laughing. "Forgive her. She's…she's…well she's off." She explained as best as she could.

"Hey, didn't I see you performing here yesterday?" Isaac asked as he squinted looking at her. As if trying to recall where he had seen her before.

Shana nodded. "Yep. Shannon and I did."

"Who's Shannon?" Taylor asked as he leaned his elbows on the tiny table. It tilted in his direction.

Pointing to the bedroom, Shana replied, "That monster was Shannon. She'll be out in a few moments. She's just trying to wake up. Give her a few hours."

They laughed and twenty minutes later Shannon came back out; and still in her pj's. She was rubbing her eyes again. Yawning, she said, "Shana, you are not going to believe what kind of nightmare I had." She stretched and her small tank top rose, exposing her ribs; and her boxers lowered slightly on her hips. She started running her hand through her already messy and crooked ponytail.

"What was it about?" Shana asked as she giggled at Shannon's actions.

"Well," She started as her gazed finally focused back on the table. Hanson was there and blushing slightly. Shannon stared at them calmly. "Isn't it amazing when the earth never swallows you whole when you want it to the most?" She asked sarcastically before she went back towards her room and slammed the door shut.

Isaac, Zac, Taylor, and Shana started laughing wildly at Shannon.

After about another ten minutes had passed Shannon came back out fully dressed, with socks and shoes on; and her hair was brushed. "Thanks for the warning." She said as she smacked Shana up the backside of her head.

"HEY!" Shana shouted. "How could? I was laughing." She weakly defended herself, as she rubbed her head.

Shannon tossed her a dirty look and then looked at Isaac, Taylor, and Zac. "I hope you know that you still have fans waiting for you outside. Still." She said pointing to the window.

They could see shadows of the many girls just standing out there waiting for a glimpse, a picture; an autograph from the trio.

"Sorry to have disturbed you and your sleep." Taylor apologized. "But we needed a safe place." He explained.

"I understand perfectly well." Shannon replied. "But I just don't like getting woken up early." She said shrugging.

Almost thirty more minutes had passed before the girls started to drift away. Leaving the entire group breathing sighs of relief.

The guys got up ready to leave.

"You know, Shann, I have those exact same boxers." Zac said smiling.

"And I have those gorilla slippers." Isaac added laughing.

Shannon smiled and nodded as the trio stepped onto the ground. "You know I told you not to comment about that." She said as she started to shake her head. "And now that you have, you'll have to suffer my wrath." She said slyly as they started to walk away.

"Oh, yeah? And how?" Taylor taunted.

Shannon grinned at them. "OH MY GOD!!" She shrieked loudly and hysterically. She saw a few girls near by. And where there was a few, there was always a lot more. "IT'S HANSON!" She screamed as she pretended to hyperventilate and point at the three boys.

"Oh, no." Isaac said as the group of girls screamed and started running towards them.

"RUN!!" Taylor shouted at Isaac and Zac. And they did.

Shannon laughed the whole time watching as Hanson just barely escaped the hands of their fans. While Shana commented on how cruel it was.

"Hey, I told them not to comment." Shannon defended as she shrugged her shoulders stating there was nothing else that she could've done.

Shana started giggling. "It was pretty funny."

A knock on their door quited the laughter slightly, but giggles still irrupted form thier mouths every once in a while.

"Hey, Mac." Shana greeted as she let their tour manager inside. A man followed behind him.

" 'Sup Mac?" Shannon asked as she drank from a bottle of water. She tossed it to Shana when the two men sat down in front of her and Shana sat down next to her.

"I've got some exciting news." Mac said smiling brightly.

"Dude share." Shannon replied glancing over at the other man curiously.

"Wait, who's he first." Shana said nodding to the stranger.

Mac smiled at them. "This is Jim Reeves. He works for Mercury records. And he just saw you perform yesterday." He said as his smile seemed to grow wider.

"Coolness. Did you enjoy the show?" Shannon asked smiling brightly at him.

Jim's face broke out into a grin. "I sure did, and I have a propostion for you and Shana."

Shana and Shannon leaned forward slightly. Their complete attention focused on the new comer. "Yeah?" Shana asked.

"I want to sign you to Mercury records. Now I know you will want to talk this over first. After all it is a big step, and I will need to speak with your parents."

The words rung in thier ears and echoed from their mouths. Then they started screaming hysterically.

"Ohmigod!!" Shannon shouted. Then she pulled Shana into a giant hug. "We did it!" She screamed. "We made it!"

Shana hugged back. Her own voice repeating the deal that was written down on the paper still lying on the table.

~ Eight Months Later ~

"Izzy, that's not right!" Shana shouted at Shannon.

Shannon gave her a dirty look. They had been in the recording studio for almost three hours, and they still couldn't hit the right note in one song. Because they didn't know what note should be there in the first place. "Like you were doing any better." She hissed.

"Girls!" Their manager Casey called at them. "Why don't you two take a short break at the park and see if you can come up with the right pitch?" She suggested frustrated by the mistake in the song.

"Fine." They both mumbled. Frustrated also.

~ The Park ~

Shannon was sitting on the picnic table while Shana was sitting on the bench.

"Let's let go." Shannon sang softly over and over. She kept raising her hand trying to find the right pitch that would fit perfectly to the song they were having problems with.

"Sometimes we need to be free." Shana sang meaning more than what the song was meant to mean.

"Stop." Shannon said thinking for a minute. She heard some guys laughing as they played soccer a few feet away form them. She tossed them an annoyed and angry glance before she went back to humming the same part over and over. "I GOT IT!!" She yelled jumping up excited.

"Watch out!" She heard someone shout.

She turned around and all she saw was the white and black pattern of the soccer ball nearing her face; and then suddenly all black. "Ow." She said slowly before she toppled over. "I don't got it." She stated.

Shana hovered over her. "Sha…" She started, but then knowing better she started saying, "Izzy, Izzy!" She said shaking her best friend. "How does the song go?" She asked urgently as the guys came over. "IZ!"

They were all wearing sunglasses and baseball caps. One of them had their hat on backwards though. "We are sooo sorry." One stated as they came up close.

"Is she okay?" Another asked.

"Want me to go get help?" The other one asked.

Shana shook her head 'no' to all of their questions. "Shut up!!" She shouted at them. "She just figured out a piece to our song that we really, really need." She said still looking at Shannon.

Shannon opened her eyes slowly and blinked a few times. "Take it up one half stub; and then go up one fourth." She said very slowly and calmly as she tried to stand up.

"Do you know your name?" A guy asked her cautiously as he helped her steady herself.

Shannon just stared at him for a moment.

"She doesn’t need to know her name." Shana said as she stopped jumping around for a moment. "Izzy, you are a such a genius, girl." She said hugging Shannon tightly.

Shannon looked back at the guy who asked her the question. "Apparently my name is Izzy, I'm a girl, and I am a genius." She said calmly as she nodded. "And you?" She asked.

He looked uneasy. "I'm Isaac." He said quietly as he looked around, making sure that no one was around to hear him.

Shannon looked around also. "I don't think anyone heard ya, dude." She said in a stage whisper, smiling.

Isaac smiled at her. Then he gave a small chuckle. "Yeah, you're probably right."

Before Shannon and Isaac could talk anymore, Shana had her by the arm and was dragging her out of the park and towards the studio.

"You do know that, that was Hanson back there. Don't you?" Shannon asked as she allowed herself to be dragged the two blocks to the studio.

Shana stopped suddenly. "Are you serious?" She asked in shock.

Shannon nodded. "I thought you'd recognize them before I did. But I guess I was wrong."

"You don't think that they noticed us, do you?" Shana asked worriedly as she continued to drag Shannon into the studio.

Shaking off her grip, Shannon replied, "Skyye, we look totally different now. Not even our parents could point us out in a crowd or by ourselves for that matter." She said softly as she walked into the sound booth with Shana behind her.

'And we need to keep it that way.' Shannon said to herself, beyond all seriousness.
