"Here Lucy." Zac said handing her another beer.
"Thanks babe." Lucy replied. "Have you seen Jay and Tay?" She asked her drunken boyfriend.
"Nope, but I saw Ang and Ike going to the back bedroom." He said.
"Oh, really?" She asked surprised. "Well, that’s not like Ang, but oh well...what about you and me go back to your place and uh… I dunno.... make magic?"
"Well Luce," He hiccuped. "I dunno… but okay."
So off they went to Zac’s house.
"Jay, I'm leaving! With or without you!" Taylor screamed.
"Oh yeah Tay, you can't drive! You can barely stand up!" Jay smarted back. "Look at you! You're about to fall over!" She looked at the unstable Taylor.
"Well, Miss Goody-Goody, you aren't so sober yourself. So I'm leaving..." He was gonna go on but heard a scream.
"What was that?" Jay asked.
"It sounded like someone screamed." Tay responded.
"Well I know that moron... but who?" Jay said smacking Tay in the head knocking him over.
Jay took off toward the bedroom and what she saw was unbelievable.
"IKE?!?!" Tay screamed. "What are you doing?"
Ike looked at Tay and Jay in the doorway and got off Angel and took Tay by the hand "Give me your keys!" He growled.
Reluctantly Taylor handed over his keys as Angel and Jay headed for the door.
"What was that about Ang?" Jay asked her friend.
"I have no idea."
Angel and Jay took off toward Angel’s house.
"Ike, you aren't driving my car!" Tay screamed.
But Taylor was too weak and Ike threw him in the passenger seat and got on the drivers side started the car and headed down the road recklessly.
"Oh Lucy, I love you sooooo much. You mean everything to me." Zac said softly in Lucy’s ear, making her giggle.
"Zac, you are too much." She responded.
"I know, I know… and that’s why you love me." He said gingerly.
“Yep," As Lucy reached over and kissed Zac.
But neither of them knew that tonight they would lose a friend and a sibling.
"Angel, you are going to fast!" Jay screamed... but Ang wasn't listening. She was getting faster and faster with tears in her eyes and on her checks.
"Ike, get on your side of the road!" Tay yelled.
"No!" As he pulled into his neighborhood there was an oncoming car.
"OHMIGOD!” Angel yelled as she tried to swerve a car on the wrong side of the road, she hit them head on.
"Zac, what was that crash?" Lucy asked.
"I dunno, let’s go see.”
Zac and Lucy walked outside to see Ike’s car and Tay’s car both smashed and he saw Angel cradling Ike’s lifeless body.
Zac walked up to her..."Ang, what happened?" He asked.
"I dunno." She said through sobbing tears. "But it wasn't my fault."
Zac got Ike’s cell phone and called 911.
