(At the French Airport)
"Gilligan, wait up girl!" Tiffany
yells.
"I can't. I need to get to AJ
as soon as possible. I can't believe we're this close again.
I mean, we're in the same town and everything!" I say in excitement.
"You still need to chill girl.
If someone elbows you; you, or may I say, you two, could be in a lot of
trouble." Tiffany says, getting in front of me to block the on coming
people.
"Thank for warning me. This is
a new experience for me, I'm going to have to start watching myself."
I say.
"Once we find AJ, you won't have to
watch out by yourself." Tiffany says.
"Well, let's get out of here."
I say as I grab my bags and walk outside.
Once outside, it's a whole new world
to me. I feel totally lost in a way. Tiffany and I find a taxi.
"La Grande Royale." I say to
the driver.
We take off down the road. We
arrive at our hotel a couple minutes later. I pay the taxi driver
as a bellhop comes out and takes our bags.
"Whoa girl, this is fancy living. How
can you afford to have us stay here?" Tiffany asks.
"I have connections; let's just get
upstairs so we can start looking." I say as we head inside.
(Upstairs after getting settled in)
"Gosh, this is a nice place."
I say as I jump onto the couch.
"Yeah, and look at this view!"
Tiffany exclaims as she looks out the huge picture window.
"I told them I wanted one of the higher
floors. I knew that they would have a great view." I say.
"OK, lets go look for the guys. The concerts tonight and I have no
clue where to find them."
"OK, let's go." Tiffany says
as we walk out the door.
(2 hours later)
Tiffany and I walk around the crowded
street's of Paris looking for any sign that would lead us to the guys.
"I know they're performing here tonight,
I'm just not sure where or when." I say.
"Even if we find them, I doubt we'll
be able to get a ticket. They've been playing to sold out crowds
their whole tour." Tiffany says.
"Don't sale me short, I'm prepared."
I say as I pull a pass out of my purse.
It's the All Access pass Donna and
Johnny gave me. It says 'All Access for Suzanna Patterson' and it's
signed by Johnny Wright.
"Where did you get that?" Tiffany
asks.
"Johnny and Donna gave it to me when
I left. They knew I'd be coming back." I say as I put the pass
back in my purse.
Tiffany and I keep looking around.
Then we walk by a music store; in the window is a picture of the guys and
it says "The Backstreet Boy's Zone" on it.
Tiffany and I run into the store; inside
are bunches of pictures of the guys. Including their "Backstreet's
Back" picture.
I run up to the counter and ask, "Where
is the concert going to be?!"
"Excusez moi, Madame(excuse me, miss)?"
The cashier asks.
"Gilligan, she can't understand you."
Tiffany says.
"I'll make her understand. I
didn't take two French classes just to forget it all." I say turning
to the cashier. "Madam, ou est le Backstreet Boys concert(Miss, where
is the Backstreet Boys concert)?"
"Le concert est ici(The concert is
here)." She says pointing to a map of Paris.
"Mai je acheter le carte(May I buy
this map)?" I ask.
"Oui, cinq dollars(Yes, five dollars)."
The woman replies.
I give the woman the money and say,
"Merci tres beaucoup(Thank you very much)," as Tiffany and I run out of
the store.
We try to figure out where we are.
When we do that, then we figure out how to get to the pavilion. When
we figure that it's just up the block, we start running for it. As
we run up to the gates; I take the pass, Johnny and Donna gave me, out
of my purse.
"Madame, je suis tres desole, mais
vous ne pouvez pasy aller dans sans un billet(Miss, very sorry, but you
cannot go in without a ticket)." The guard at the gate says to me.
"J' ai un rendez-vous avec eux.
Voyez, j' ai un reussir de Johnny Wright(I have an appointment with them.
See, I have a pass from Johnny Wright)." I say showing the guard
my pass as we walk through the gates.
Once inside, we realize our fight isn't
even close to being over.
"I've been to a lot of the guys concerts,
but this is crazy! I've never seen one of their shows this packed."
I say pushing my way through the crowd.
"Girl, like I told you at the airport.
Be careful, you don't want to get shoved or elbowed." Tiffany says,
trying to get in front of me.
While walking around, I see a big black
man standing at the entrance of the stage.
"Leaon?" I say under my breath.
"Leaon? Leaon!" I yell
as I start running for him.
"Suzy-Q, is that you? Is that
really you?" Leaon asks.
"Flesh and bone!" I say as I
run up and give him a hug. "Leaon, I'd like you to meet one of my
best friends; Tiffany Galmich'e. But just call her Skipper or Tiffy
G."
He shakes her hand and says, "Nice
to meet you, I'm Leaon."
"Yeah, I got that idea when she went
crazy yelling your name. Hi, I'm Tiffy G, nice to meet you Leaon."
Tiffany says.
"OK, enough chit chat. Take us
to the guys Leaon." I say in excitement.
"I'm not allowed to let anyone past
this door, sorry." Leaon says with a smile.
I shoot him a mean look and say, "Buddy,
we just flew across the ocean, battled the French airport, searched for
two hours just to get here. NOW LET ME IN!"
"I'd let her in if I was you.
I've learned not to get in her way when it comes to her getting to AJ.
You didn't see how she pushed people out of her way as she was leaving
the airport." Tiffany says.
"I can imagine it though.
Right this way ladies." Leaon says opening the door for Tiffany and
me.
We walk through the door and down a
long hallway. I can hear Brian and Nick laughing and Sarah telling
them to shut up. I feel like I'm going to cry as I get closer to
the door. I motion Tiffany to stay back. Nick is standing in
the doorway with his back towards me.
I sneak up really close to him, grab
him around his waist, and yell, "GOT YA!"
