(Later that night at Sarah and my apartment)
Sarah and Brian walk into
the apartment, it's all dark.
"Suzy? Are you even
here?" Sarah calls into the darkness.
All of a sudden the lights
turn on and AJ, Howie, Kevin, Nick, Ashley, Shena, Whitney, and I jump
out and yell, "Surprise!"
Sarah runs in and hugs everyone.
She says, "Guys, this is
so sweet, thank you."
I walk up to Brian and say,
"I can't believe she didn't see me baking that cake today."
"I know, I could smell it
when I walked in." Brian says laughing.
I bring out the cake and
we sing 'Happy Birthday' to Sarah. We all eat cake and have a really
good time. The guys all chip in and give her a new CD player.
Finally the party is over and everyone starts to leave. Brian and
AJ are the last to leave. I give AJ a kiss good-bye and go sit on
the couch. Brian say good-bye to Sarah, and gives her a sweet, passionate
kiss goodnight. She walks in, I'm sitting on the couch watching TV.
She runs over to me, showing me the bracelet, while telling me everything
that happened between Brian and her.
"Before the day's over,
I want to give you your present." I say
"You didn't have to do that,
you arranged this party and baked the cake." Sarah says.
"I wanted to get you something,
open it." I say handing her a wrapped box.
She opens the box to see
figure of Tigger and Whinnie the Pooh.
She gives me a hug and says,
"Thanks girl, this is the bomb."
"Well, sounds like this
was a memorable birthday." I say.
"You bet it is. I'll
never forget it." Sarah says walking down the hall. "You know,
I'm kind of tired; I'm going to bed."
"Like you'll be able to
sleep when your laying on cloud nine." I say laughing.
(A couple weeks later at the studio)
"Hey guys, you know, Christmas
is only a couple weeks away. I think it's time we go pick out a tree
together." I say to the guys.
"You want all of us to go?"
Nick asks.
"Yes! We're spending
Christmas together, we all have to be happy with the tree." I say.
"How about we go look for
one right now? I'm sure we could find a good one at the floral place
we passed on the way to the mall the other day." Sarah says.
"Sounds like a plan.
AJ, Howie, and Nick can go with Suzy. And Brian, Sarah, and I can
go in my blazer. We can use the blazer to get the tree back to your
apartment." Kevin says.
We all get in the vehicles
are drive to the where the trees are. We look around for, what seems
like, hours. One of the guys picks out a tree, and someone else doesn't
like it. I pick out a tree and Kevin doesn't like it. Finally
the guys get together to look for a tree, and they find the perfect one.
They yell at me, when I turn around I see them pointing in the direction
of the tree.
Sarah and I
walk over to the tree and look it up and down. It's the perfect tree.
It's just the right height, the right fullness, it's nice and green, and
most of all it's cheap! We buy the tree and haul it over to Sarah
and my apartment to put it up. We finally get it up. We decide
that we each get to put seven ornaments each on the tree, but we have to
wait until Christmas Eve to put them on the tree.
(A week before Christmas)
Sarah and I decide to go shopping for Christmas present for the guys. We go all over the mall looking for the perfect gifts for the guys. I find a basketball jersey that Nick will just love. Sarah get Kevin a pocket watch the has 'To my big bro' inscribed on the back of it. I get Brian a teddy bear wearing a Kentucky Wildcats jersey. Sarah gets Howie a couple CD's and movie he's been really wanting to get. I get Kevin a necklace that says '#1 Big Bro' on it. Sarah get AJ a Chinese food cookbook and a wak (he's really been wanting it). I get Howie a pair of really awesome boots that I know he's been wanting to buy. And Sarah gets Nick a Nintendo game that he's been wanting really bad. Now all we have to get are special gifts for our special guys. We decide to split up and meet in front of JCPenny in an hour.
(With Sarah)
Sarah walks around the mall looking in different stores, she wants to find the perfect gift for Brian. It needs to be something that he'll like and is kind of sentimental to them. Then she sees it, the perfect gift. He'll love it.
(With me)
I walk around the mall looking at everything in sight. Should I get him something playful, or something serious? I want him to like it, that's for sure. Should I get him a couple smaller things, or just one big thing? It so confusing, and then I decide I'm going to get him some small things. I see one of them right now.
