"I know that, I just meant...well...you know what I meant!"  Sarah says frustrated

AJ smiles and says, "Yeah I know, I'm just giving you a hard time."

I smile and  say, "Well sweetie, Sarah and I have to go.  I have stuff to do tomorrow, and of course, we have a date."

AJ gives me a kiss and mouths I love you to me.  I do it back.  And Sarah and I leave.
 

"Well, I have taken my shower, my nails are done, my make-up's on, and the curlers are almost done.  All I have to do is put on my panty-hose, and my dress."  I say nervously

"Oh, I got you a present, or might I say, I got AJ a present."  Sarah say picking up a Victoria's Secret bag.

"What is it?"  I ask.  Sarah pulls out a bottle of 'Curve' perfume.

"Oh my gosh Sarah, I can't believe you.  You got me AJ and my favorite perfume!?!  But that’s so expensive, you didn’t have too."  I say.

"Just wear it, he’ll like the perfume."  Sarah says with a smile.

I give her a hug and walk into my room to get ready.
 

I walk out of the room and say, "That must be him."

"Girl you are going to knock him off his feet.  You wearing the Curve I got you?"  Sarah asks.  I nod my head yes and go to open the door.  I open the door and AJ wearing a black leather over coat, with a burgundy undershirt.  His hair is done just right, and he smells great.

My mouth drops open and I say, "AJ, you look...so handsome."

He looks me up and down and says, "I didn't believe Sarah when she said that when I saw you in your dress, I'd fall in love.  But I'm falling in love all over again.  You look beautiful, darlin'."

Sarah smiles and says, "Ah, you guys are just so cute together.  I can't hardly stand it."

Brian sneaks from behind AJ and says, "I didn't want to spoil the mood, so I thought I'd stand back until you got your first looks done."

"So what are your plans tonight you two?"  I ask still gawking at AJ

"I guess Brian and I will stay here and watch a movie or something.  Then when AJ drops you off, Brian can go back with him."  Sarah says.  We start to leave.

As I close the door I softly say to Sarah, "Now you two better not be necking on the couch tonight."

"Oh shut up."  Sarah says with a smile as I close the door.
 

"Are you wearing 'Curve' babe?"  AJ asks me.

"Yeah.  Sarah bought me...or might I say...you a bottle for our date.  At least she says she pretty much bought it for your enjoyment."  I say

"She has the right idea, cause you smell great."  he says
 

"Well, I guess I should tell you why I wanted to go out tonight.  See, even though you think most guys wouldn't even notice; it's our five month anniversary."  AJ says

"Oh my gosh!  You actually remember?  I thought we were just going out because it's been a while.  I didn't think you'd actually...remembered."  I say

AJ smiles at me and says, "Sweetie, you mean so much to me.  I could never forget.  And I bought you something too."

"You didn't have to do that."  I say

"I know I didn't have to, but I really wanted to.  That's why I got you this."  AJ says to me, handing me a rectangular box.
I slowly open the box, inside I see the most beautiful necklace I've ever seen.  It is a gold necklace with a heart shaped pendant on it.  The pendant has a row of diamonds going down one side of the heart.

"Oh AJ.  It's...it's beautiful.  I've never seen something this beautiful before."  I say while holding the necklace.  AJ takes the necklace from my hands, puts it around my neck, and says, "I have."   I turn around and give AJ a passionate kiss.  I think to myself 'How did I get so lucky to get a guy like this?  Why, even though of my past, does he love me?' 

"Well, what do you want for dessert?"  I ask

"I know exactally want for my dessert."  He says

"And what's that?"  I ask

Pulling me closer to him, he says, "It's sweet, beautiful, delicate, oh...and smells delicious."

I start to laugh a little and say, "AJ, people are looking at us."

"Let them look, I'm spending a night out with the woman I love."  He says, then he kisses me pasionatally.  "Let's go to my apartment, and have desert."

"Sure.  There's no desert sweeter than you lips."  I say
