Sarah walks over to Brian and says softly, "Well, we needed a someone for a certain type of part for the movie.  And she's the only one that we could think of."

"We?!"  Brian asks

I walk up to them and say, "Yeah, well, I'm part of this too.  Look big bro, I'm sorry I know how uncomfortable this will be; but please try to make this work.  Don't tell the others about what happened, we don't need a lot of trouble."

Brian sets there for a minute and then he says, "OK, I'll try."

Nick walks up to Heather and asks "What are you doing here girl?"

"Well, Suzanne called and said the director needed someone for a part.  And that I was the only person on such short notice she could think of for the part."  Heather says "Oh Suzanne, what is the part anyway?"

I say with a small smile, "I think you should talk to the director about it."  Heather walks over to the director and starts talking to him.  They are far enough away that we can't hear them.  But with the look Heather gives me, I know when he told her that the character plays a lying, deceiving person.

The director walks over to us and says, "I've explained what she'll be doing.  She doesn't have a lot of main parts in this scene, so we'll get started right away.  Sarah and Suzanne can help her if she gets in a spot."

"I'll help her alright." Sarah says under her breath.

"OK everyone in their places, and ACTION!" The director yells.  I storm out of the school and start walking for my car.  I open the door and just as start to sit down, someone grabs my arm.  I turn around and see AJ.

"I hear that your staying home and studying."  he says

"Well I really need to, I have a big test that I really need to get a good grade on."  I say

"I wish you could go though, we haven't spent a lot of time together.  I'm starting to miss you."  AJ says in a little voice.

I look down at the ground, then I say to him, "Baby, I know I've been awful busy; but it's just tha..."

AJ cuts me off and says, "I know and I understand.  I just miss you that's all.  Well you better get home and study, you really need this grade."  Then he leans forward and kisses me.

"CUT!!!"  The director says  "OK lets move to set 5."  [they move to set 5]

"ACTION!!!"

Sarah and Brian walk up to the rest of the guys, and Sarah asks, "Hey guys, so what are you going to do first?"

"I'm doing the go-carts." Nick says

Howie agrees, "Me too."

"Well I'm going to the arcade."  Kevin says walking into the building.

"Well Sarah and I are going to ride the bumper boats, you wanna join us AJ?"  Brian asks
AJ looks at the ground, looks up, then says, "Nah, I'll find something to do.  I'm just going to walk around."  Then he walks away.

"Do you think AJ's alright?  He seems kind of...well...down."  Sarah asks

"He told me that him and Suzy haven't got to spend much time with each other.  I guess it's really getting to him, I understand though.  If I didn't get to spend much time with you, I'd walk around like that too."  Brian says

(the shot moves to AJ walking around talking to himself)

AJ says to himself, "Maybe it's just me, maybe she just doesn't want to spend time with me anymore.  Why don't we spend time with each other anymore?  She says it's school, but maybe I've just gotten old.  School never stopped her
when we were just friends.  I guess it is just me, she must not love me anymo..."

"She'd have to be a fool not to spend time with you."  says a voice

AJ turns around to see Crystal, a girl in his English class.  He says, "What?  Ummm...I don't think I get you?"

Crystal says, "I said Suzanne would have to be a fool not to spend time with you.  She doesn't know what she's missing."

"We'll work it out after she gets done with all these test."  AJ says in my defense

Crystal says, "Yeah, then there'll be just another test that will happen to come up, and spoil your plans.  Can't you see, she doesn't put you first in her life.  You know you should be firs...."

"Look chick, I don't think you need to be having this discussion with him.  If you need to have it with anyone, you need to have it with me."  I say.  Crystal turns around and looks, she looks kind of nervous now.

"So what were you saying about how I was a fool for not spending time with him?"  I say

"Well I was just joking, you know what I mean?"  Crystal says backing away from AJ as I walk towards him.

"NO!!  You weren't joking.  And you were right.  I am a fool for not spending more time with him, and I realized that today.  That's why I'm here now."  I say turning to AJ "Baby, I'm sorry.  I was letting everything get in the way of what I really wanted and needed.  Will you forgive me?"

"Of course I will."  AJ says as he kisses me

I stop him, turn to Crystal, and say, "Oh I'm sorry.  I forgot you were there.  You may go now."
