Brian runs to her and says, "Sarah, I know your really mad at me.  And I know I don't deserve for you to forgive me but, please...."

"Shhhhh....it's I who should be asking you to forgive me.  I should have known that no matter what; you would never betray me."  Sarah says

I say, "I think I'll leave you to alone." and I walk out of the room closing the door.

"So what's going on in there?"  AJ asks

"Well I think they are on the road to recovery."  I say with a smile

Joshua pulls me to the side and whispers, "I really have to talk to you.  You really need to see the surprise.  It's kinda important."

"Why don't you just bring it here or something?"  I say

"I doubt your 'boyfriend' would appreciate it."  Josh snaps

"OK OK I'll go to your hotel.  This better be important."  I say  "AJ.  I'm going with my cousins to check out their hotel.  I'll be back in a while.  Will you tell Sarah that?"

AJ says, "Sure babe.  Bye."  and gives me a kiss.

"Bye."  I say and I walk out.
 

"OK what is this big surprise that couldn't wait any longer?"  I say as we approach Josh and Zach's hotel room door.

Putting his hands over my eyes, Zach says, "You'll see in a minute.  But it's a surprise, so you can't look."  I hear them open the door and Zachary slowly walks me in the room and sets me down in a chair.  Then he takes his hands away from my eyes and I look in front of me.

"Oh my gosh!!!!"  I scream  "Derek?  Is that really you?"

"Yep."  He says as we throw our arms around each other.

"What are you doing here?!?"  I ask.

He looks at Josh and Zach and says, "Well...the guys told me they were coming to see you and I knew I just had to see you."

"We'll leave you two to talk."  Josh says

Derek and I set there for a while saying nothing.  Like we can't even find the words to begin.  Derek stands up and walks over to me.  He says, "You know, when you left my life became a living hell.  I didn't want anything if I couldn't have you.  You meant...mean so much to me."

"Please don't do this.  That's in our past now, there's nothing I can do about it.  It wasn't that I wanted to leave; it was that leaving was what I had to do.  You know that I couldn't pass up this kinda offer.  To get a chance to go to college in Florida, to explore places farther away than my backyard.  It's what I've always wanted."  I say

Derek looks at me and says, "Yes I know it wasn't that you wanted, and I know that this was a great opportunity for you; I also know that when you left you took my heart with you.  You can deny it as much as you want but you know that you still miss...love me."

I start to get upset.  I say, "Look, I do admit that after I left I spent months crying myself to sleep at night.  And I do miss the times that we had, we have some great memories that I'll never forget.  But I've got someone else; and I'm making lots of wonderful memories with him.  I don't want to loose what I have with him, we have something very special."

"Yeah, I though we had something very special too."  Derek says softly as he turns his back to me and looks outside into the dark.

"Derek...I..." I say as Derek cuts me off.

"You better go back to your boyfriend, I'm sure he's wondering what's going on.  I know I would be."  Derek says sadly.

"Your right, I need to.  I have to sleep, have a movie to start filming more of tomorrow.  You can come by the studio if you want.  I'm sure everyone would love to meet you."  I say trying to lighten the mood.

With his back still turned towards me Derek says, "I might, depends.  You just better go."

"I'm sorry about..."I say as Derek cuts me off again.

"Go."  He snaps

As I walk out the door I say, "It was nice seeing you."  I walk down the hall and walk outside.  Josh and Zach are out there.

"Zach take me back to the guys apartment, Josh your his best friend; go up there and talk to him.  Also I want you guys to bring him and yourselves by the studio.  Here's the address."  I say handing Josh a piece of paper.  I give Josh a hug good-bye and get in the car with Zach.  Then we leave.

"OK OK OK  I hear you, you dadburned clock."  I say turning off the clock.
