Brian looks at AJ and me, then the doors open.  We rush out and look around, there was no mob of girls in sight.
      "Keep walking you two, they'll be here any minute."  AJ says
      So we all start rushing out the front door when we hear screaming behind us.  It's the mob of girls.
      "Where's Leaon when you need him?"  I ask the guys
       We drag AJ over to an alley and set him in it.
      "Stay here with AJ.  I'll distract them."  Brian says to me
      "NO!  They'll just catch you, we need to stay together."  AJ snaps
      But Brian takes off running.  AJ tries to stand up but falls, I grab him and lower him to the ground.
      "AJ you need to save your strength in case we do have to run for it."  I say
      AJ looks at me and says, "I can't just let him go on his own."
      "Look, he'll be fine.  Right now you need to worry about you.  You're hurt, and I..." I'm cut off by the screams of girls.
      I look up the alley and see the girls chasing Brian.  AJ grabs me and pulls me behind a big trash can.  The girls run past the alley and don't see us.  I peak around the side of the trash can to see if the coast is clear.
      "OK it's clear, we need to get you out of here.  You need to get your ankle looked at."  I say to AJ.
      He moans a little then says, "Alright.  Help me up."
       I help AJ up and we slowly walk out of the alley. I peek around the corner to make sure there aren't any girls around and slowly help AJ into the street.
       "We can go to my apartment." I tell him. "It isn't far from here. We can go through the alleys, just to be safe."
       "OK." AJ says.
       So we crisscross through the alleys until were at the back door of my apartment building. We open it and head for an elevator. AJ sits on the floor while we wait to get to my floor.
      "We made it." I told AJ as I open the door.
      "Good." he mumble.
      I open the door and see Sarah, Nick, Kevin, Howie, Shena, Ashley, Heather, Aarti, and Whitney sitting in the living room.
      Sarah turns and looks at us, the first thing that pops out of her mouth is, "Where's Brian?"
      "Well...he...he took off running so the girls wouldn't see AJ; and I could get him to safety."  I say softly
      "You mean he's out there while a mob of girls is chasing him?!"  Sarah asks nervously
      Ashley says, "Well, we can go look for him.  Suzanna, you stay here with the guys.  And the rest of us girls can go look for him."
      I nod my head as they all run out the door.
      After closing the door, I motion Howie and Kevin to help me get AJ over to the couch.  They pick him up and carry him over.
      "Where's your shoe and sock AJ?"  Nick asks
      AJ looks at me and says, "Well?"
       "Oh my gosh, I forgot it!  I'll be right back."  I say as I run for the door.
      AJ yells, "No don't worry about it, it just a shoe."
      But I turn and run out of the room anyway.
 

      Sarah and I walk in; and all the girls and Brian are back.  Sarah takes one look at Brian and runs bawling to her room.
      "Sarah wait."  Brian says starting to follow her.
      "Brian no.  Give her time to calm down."  I say  "I don't know what's going on, but I know she'll be better when she calms down."
       Everyone gets real quiet.  I walk over to AJ and smile.
       "Here."  I say throwing his shoe and sock at him.
       He smiles and says, "I told you it wasn't important."
       Heather motions for me to follow her outside onto the balcony, so I do so.
       When we get out there she says, "Would you like to know what's going on with Sarah?"
       "Yes, that would be nice."  I say
       "Well...see...while everyone was looking for Brian.  I...well...found him."  Heather says
       I wait a few minutes for her to continue but she doesn't say anything.  So I say, "Yeah I understand why she's mad.  I would be too."
       Heather kind of smiles and says, "OK I got ya.  Well anyway, I found him, but he wasn't alone.  He was with..."
       I look at her waiting for her to say who he was with.  But she doesn't say anything.
        "He was with....who?"  I say
       "He was with some other girl.  I think she was one of the girls in the mob.  All I know is that I saw them kissing, and I heard him tell her that he loved her."  Heather says.
       My eyes get big and I yell, "He did what?"
       "Shhh...he doesn't know I saw him.  Anyway, I told Sarah and she took off running.  I couldn't catch up with her."  She said
        I storm into the apartment and rush into Sarah's bedroom.
        "Girl, Heather told me what happened.  You want to talk about it?"  I ask softly
        She looks up at me with tears streaming from her eyes and says, "You know, if he would have just kissed her that would have been fine, I could forgive that.  But he told her he loved her, that's not something I can excuse.  I mean, when you tell someone you love them, that's a vow of showing them that they are totally yours."
       Brian walks in the room and says, "Who said that they loved who?"
