6th Edition

So I think that 6th Edition may come out soon, but nothing is certain. The relative failure of 5th Edition has scared WotC away from doing a new set but I have some ideas to make it a sucess.

First of all WotC should do something that would right a wrong. Take some of the cards from 4th Edition that were cut out of 5th and put them back in. The Serra and the Hippy are prime canidates. These cards would add something to Magic that has been mising for a long time. There is nothing wrong with a few powerful cards. Especially ones that are old friends of many magic players. Add new illustrations to the Hippy though. Of course it would be a sin to add a new illustration to lady serra. Some other cards would be nice like Swords to Plowshares. Mahamoti Dijin would make the blue creature deck possible to exist again and would seriously compete with the Sligh. Of course then there are some cards that are better left out of 6th. These would be cards like Ivory Tower.

Another great idea would be to add some new cards. That's right brand new cards. I mean, who really wants to buy new cards that are exactly the same as ones before. Some portal cards would be fairly good in this set. I think that The Ragin Goblin from Portal (1/1, casting cost of R and unaffected by summoning sickness) and some cards that I would like to see would be more do nothing cards. I especially like cards that do not do anything for some reason. I do not know why. But they have to be GOOD! Like a 2/1 for 1 mana. Or maybe a 2/2 for 2. I mean that would be better than the Goblin Hero brand of creatures. Let's face it, half of the creatures that have weird abilities you don't really use.

Something that would make the set worth buying is toned down (but not so much that they suck) cards. For example an Erham Dijin with phasing would be nice. I think that some of those cards are great and are just a bit overpowered. But the one thing that makes card rehashs suck is when they cost more mana. Thosw always end up sucking.

Those are some good ideas for now. Cya later
