The horse we're loaning is named Tara! She's a 26 year old mare chestnut Morgan horse. She lives at a farm in CT. We kinda spoil her giving her lots of treats like carrots, apples, pancakes, sugar cubes, grain, hay...
Pretty often, Karen (my sister) and me ride her. We both ride "English." It's fun to trot and cantar.
After we ride her we let her go back up in the pasture where she goes and sees the neighor's horse Wally.
Hannibal the Saddlebred Horse
I'm very excited, because we just got a horse this week. This is the first horse we've owned so it's gonna be a cool experience to have our own horse. He's a 11-year-old saddlebred horse. His name is Hannibal. This horse is HUGE which gives you a hint on why his first owners called him Hannibal. He used to be a show horse, but now is retired from showing.
