iRiver
IDP100
seems to be another great product from iRiver
The
Good
Expandable Cheap memory.
4 lines LCD.
The
Bad
Needs
convertion to CK format when uploading into player. Design looks childish,
worst design of all iRiver product.
The
Conclusion
If
you are considering a big storage MP3 player that doesn't take up the
entire bag
of yours, you may want to consider this model. This is the first MP3 that
uses the Dataplay disk which is small yet gives you a near CD capacity
(500MB). One of these disk, will cost you a fraction of US$10 for every
500MB, which is one of the cheapest memory (except the bulky CD of course)
available in the market now. Everything is alright with this player except
that the player does not really support MP3 as it needs to convert into
its own CK format when uploading into the player, which may take a bit
of time off your uploading process. But, at the price of US$360, you may
want to consider the Creative Zen which can gives you a 20GB hardisk space.
Conclusion,
if you want a small portable player, and you don't mind the $$ price tag,
this may be a good one for you.
