A: The toads may have come down the tunnel that Tansy, and the others climbed out of before the adder came.
Q: At the end of the book Russano the Wise says that a hard stick is his weapon, and that it belonged to a perilous warrior, is that Russa's? If it is, isn't
that a little small for a badger lord?
A: The stick did belong to Russa,and no it wasn't to small for a badger.
Q: Was the stick Russano had Russa's stick? or the one Cregga used for her pike?
A: Russa's. Because the Long Patrol says; "Major Perigord took Lady Cregga's big axpike. Moles chiseled a hole into the rock at the top of the summit, and they cemented the axpike into it, uproght, with the old green homemade flag that bears the red letter R, fluttering proudly from the top. There it will stand until the winds of ages shred the banner and carry it away with them."
