Jayne ... My wife now for almost 24 years, grew up in Chapleau, where I met her in 1966. We met at the impresionable age of 16 ( she was 15 ) and enjoyed a long relationship over the next 8 years, when we finally got married. She went to school in Thunder Bay and returned to Chapleau to teach at Chapleau Public School, She now teaches in Timmins, Ontario.
Above is a picture of Jayne sitting on the rocks in front of White Point Beach lodge in Nova Scotia.. This one of the nicest spots along the coast that we visited on a earlier trip with my parents in 1986 and revisited in 1992 on a trip we took with Megan and her cousin Laura.I have always enjoyed Jayne for her spontaneity and her zest for getting the most of life in any situation. She has an ever increasing desire to learn more on any topic that interests her. One of the reasons that makes her a excellent teacher.
In more recent years she has spent hours and hours searching the net for information on the areas of the world where we would be travelling on the next trip. Jayne has been planning trips for our family for the past 15 years and has yet to bring me on a bad one. Each trip brings us to new places which opens up more of the world to us, and although I am usually hesitant or aprehensive of travelling there, I always enjoy it, and find that we do grow closer from the experience.
