Long Journey Home

Long Journey Home was a documentary on PBS a month or so ago about the Irish coming to America and all the struggles they had. I would have watched it but certain factors stood in my way. If you are interested you can buy the videos (for a steep $80) but it's about 9 hours or so long all-together so it's probably worth it. Paddy Moloney wrote the music for this wonderful soundtrack, and on the album he and The Chieftains are joined by many other well-known artists such as Sissel and Eileen Ivers. It's wonderful and a must for any lover of Irish music for this is some of Irish music's best right here on one CD!
