New on the Site Wow...not much...I've been MIA for a while and not just on-line 0:-) Just want to let you guys know I'm back and have tons of great new ideas...well maybe not all new, but definitely new to this site 0;-) My first one? a posting board dedicated to freebies! Not of the Buffy kind, but of the any kind!! Feel free to drop in, post your finds, do some freebie shopping and share what you've received! Don't expect it to be perfect quite just yet. Buffy action figures are out. For only $119.95 you can be the proud owner of all the plasticy, cheap looking toys on the right. The idea of action figures is cool and I'm all for little kids playing with female dolls, but 120 bucks for 5 little toys is a bit steep. I'm waiting for the bargain bin myself. 0:-) UPDATE: I received the Buffy doll for Christmas and recently got the Willow doll for free from Action Ace. 0:-) Yay for freebies!
And for the kid that has everything - Buffy Beanies! That's right, now you can be the proud caretaker of a plush little Angel, Willow or Buffy teddy bear. *sigh* I bet they're going to cost a fortune and that wiccan symbol on Willow Beanie's chest is not going to sit too well with parents either. I'm not interested. Cute New Buffy Game There's a new Buffy game out there - its kind of confusing but cute. The objective? Slay the vamps - spare your friends. Sound easy? Try it. New BtVS Movie? Joss Whedon reportedly started working on a
script for the second Buffy movie last December. Like all famous people love to do, SMG
was vague when questioned about it: ""There's truth that there's a rumor,
but the reason Buffy works as a series is because, basically, we do a little
movie each week. And movies have to have an end. I'm not sure it would work
for our show." Other rumors include the movie's being set in the distant future and
incorporating aliens into the plot. Aliens? What's wrong with our run
of the mill underground slimy critters?
