desires and longings Posted: 3/12/2006 10:03:30 PM I lost the race though I wanted to win seems like the others have done it again doesn't seem different actually quit the same desires and longings are a selfish deadly sin well that is one way you could think about them another might be they are inspiration for a pen see nothing is really the same way when you have the flower but you don't have a stem thinking some more in a strange way now the colours of darkness break romance taking toomany souls in the exotic dance drinking and stinking of where when and how the desire to know may keep the longings at bay letting a mind stray across undulating forms a wallflower no more to be your norm take warning as to what you choose to say now we can take that other topic back fill in the blanks with wisdom or joke sit back relaxed or make another note of some cleché like "say no to crack" then i think of the poster of long ago two fat plumbers fixing the sink bent over enough to smell the stink the picture with cleché is quite a show I long for more humour and desire nothing less this big old world mess I must confess is trying while thanks a more of everything it may be dying so while sighing I try not to get over stressed. Now you'v followed my journey along a poetic thought path with patience I think you needed to follow the beat sometimes not sticking strictly to the tappin of feet still its time to stop the rhyme and go to "asleep in the bath"
