absence of light is darkness
absence of colour is black
there is nothing we see totally
like when standing in the back
that is what your shown
alot of backs

now if you are really tall
or can slide up the wall
maybe if you brought that periscope
more hope would arise in those azure eyes
instead you disguise the lies with tries of being cool

black hat black coat black hair
black underwear when its there
black contacts set them back
black nails that can retract
under cover of darkness
you stalk your prey
in that black hearted way
when they stray to close
they're toast [burnt toast at that ... since its black]

trying to see the action with no hope of satisfaction
so you start the retraction for a positive reaction and listen
in time you can be refined and clear instead of pissin while drinkin beer.
