An eagles cry too late when two heart's become a family of four Posted: 2/13/2006 7:40:52 AM Soaring as any raptor will do in the heat of the day watching two children play in distant sands feeling the air under wings of grey and white feeling so light and free yet still hungry The exstatic joys rising to meet eyes of steel not knowing life's lesson can be so real in the flash of a talon around a kneck in the torn heart wreck of broken dreams One down and back to the nest yet is it enough to fill the request maybe another heart should come along swoop slash jab and the second child is gone taking those hearts now back to my kids they can grow strong from the deed that I did is it too late to send out those cries into the blue skies of quick good byes Back on the wing with two hearts in toe Babies eagles cry for seeing they know I'v brought two more hearts for our family of four and when they are gone I'll go get two more
