Briefly Unconscious 

a wish and a prayer is all she has
since stopping in this place 
Like many if not all the lost souls
that think they are in a race.

The human race to destruction
the race to find a cure
the race to end all deception
is not forthcoming or demure

it may be only for one moment
your life goes on the line
you have to rely on others skill
to reopen your darkened mind

She doesn't even know when
or where this thing ocurred
the only thing she know now
is how it  seems absurd

Naked on a table's 
slightly better than the road
if you don't know that you are able 
you can't be carrying the load

They say it comes back  slowly
if you rest and eat real well
you may feel a little dizzy and
may lose your sense of smell

Just briefly you were unconscious
minor concussion has come into play
We found all your particulars
so you will be able to pay.
