Ike brings Laurie home....big Mistake.

I walk in, and Zac is about to head outside. He's sitting in front of the back door, and tying his shoelace. "Zac, this is Laurie, and Laurie, this is my brother Zac." I say, Zac shakes Laurie's hand, and I watch their body language. Laurie watches Zac's eyes, as he avoids hers. He starts to walk outside the back door, when mom calls him, and he trudges over the carpet with dirt trailing behind him. "Zac....If dad see's that he'll kill you." I say quietly, and he rolls his eyes and states that dad isn't home. I walk Laurie into our room, and Tay is sitting on the bed, hunched over a peice of paper. He glances up, and see's that there's a female in the presence, but still has a sad look in his eyes. "What?" I ask. He softly says, 'Dad and Zac had a fight, and dad took off in the jeep, and then I called Lucy, and she's got some weiner from school over doing a project and making her giggle." I nod. Zac comes in, crawling on the floor, so as to not get the remaining dirt on his shoes, on the floor. "I'm going to the treehouse, does anyone feel like joining me?" He asks. Laurie's eyes follow him everywhere. She notices me watching her, and straightens out her floral purple dress. Zac looks up at me, "Ike, Mom wants you to do the garbage room with the Lysol. I told her that you had a friend over, but she insisted you do it now." I roll my eyes. Zac's just about to leave, and I'm trying to figure out what the heck to do with Laurie while I clean the garbage room....when it hits me. I ask Zac if he can entertain Laurie for about an hour while I do the garbage, and he solomnly nods. Zac and Laurie leave the room, and Tay continues his drawing. I guess its time for me to do some cleaning up.
