To introduce myself, my name is Kirsty MacIver (very Scottish heh!), I am 30yrs old, born and raised in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland. In August 1998 I moved down to Newcastle Upon Tyne to spread my wings and live with two friends and wow we had some crazy times!!.. Newcastle is a fantastic place to live if you like partying lots & in my early 20's I did alot of that. I've matured somewhat over the last few years and simmered down..(honest!). I now live in a beautiful village between Hull and York and I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world who I adore...he know's who he is!
I currently work as an Implementation Consultant for one of the UK's top 3 companies. Previously I worked in IT for companies such as Northern Rock PLC, The University of Edinburgh and Newcastle City Council. I have undertaken training in Leadership Skills and I am certified in IT Service Management along with holding a degree in Communication Studies which I gained at Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh. My career aspirations change all the time, right now my intention is to move into the Project Management field to gain more experience in this area. Ultimately my goal is to have a long & happy life with my husband to be and eventually for us to have a family and carry on the MacIver genes!!!

*Sheesh*...Were do I start? I love so many things about life and believe that you should never take it, or people for granted. I love spending time with my Fiance as we laugh so much together and we're like two peas in a pod *Grin*.
As for the other things I love in life, well I'm pretty simple really. A nice glass of wine, a good book, laughing at something stupid or funny or dancing the night away! Being a Gemini and constantly on the go I like to have music with me at all times. I love ALL types of music, from romantic love songs to rock n' roll and one of my friends Jari wrote a beautiful song about me which I'm really proud of.

I'm a fun loving person and enjoy going to the cinema or out to the pub. When I'm in a quieter mood (yep it does happen!!!)..I'm most likely to be found lying in bed day-dreaming or relaxing at home
